Unable to connect via Bluetooth too. I've tried using 2 different Android phones and an iPhone. Hold green button for 5 seconds till it flashes red twice. Press once more and it cycles red/green/blue. Open app, it appears to find the device and the led flickers on solid blue for a moment then moves to a slow blue flash once per second. App shows a blank screen with a loading circle forever. Dashboard never shows. Have ordered a cable to try MSDView tomorrow, but as someone mentioned here MSDView doesn't contain the 6523 folder and I can't find it online. Also based in Australia, but will try phoning tech support on Monday. This really needs to be fixed, I can start the car and it idles but I have no way of knowing what advance it's going to throw at it if I drive. Does it default to providing no advance curve when it's a new unit?

Hello, a few weeks ago I bought a MSD 6AL Ultra here in your store. The question is, when the vehicle is in contact the bluetooth light does not work. Previously, I did do this, in fact I entered the app and configured the MSD. The vehicle is running but I cannot access the bluetooth. What could have happened? The msd is new, just installed. Could it be due to low battery voltage or something like that?

@@matiasserie2789 Did you try re-pairing it with the little green button? For the laptop you need MSD view 4.0, it's the first one on the support site. I have to send my box back to summit. None of the 4 computers I tried recognize anything being plugged in via the cord. The bluetooth app works though and my light flashes blue all the time when powered.

@@jeffreyburnette1137 I dont have any android devices to try. Too late, Ive ripped it out. Wouldmt run at all with it, like the timing was out by 30 degrees so in the bin it goes and Ive gone back to my old faithful Crane H6i. Dont know why I bothered. Everything Ive bought Holley or MSD in the last 5 years has been rubbish and nothing but issues. Ill figure out what to do about a start retard.

Well I just forked out today for an Ultra 6AL, mainly for the built in start retard and rev limiter in the one package. All fine and dandy until the bluetooth wont stay connected and you cant set anything up. Tried 3 different devices, tried everything, reboot, reset, re-install etc etc. Makes no difference and the unit is useless. To make it worse, Ive already hardwired the harness into the car. Checked onl;ine and this looks like a universal problem with most people reporting the piece of junk doesnt work. Piece of crap, Im so disappointed and frustrated that there is no backup.

Wow, how bad must this system be, looking at all the comments, can't connect BT or PC, was looking at this , upgrade from my 6530. Better stick to what is working I suppose.
