Wigs give me a way to change my hairstyle without spending so much time at the stylists. I find it is so much fun. I am a senior and all the time I would be spending in a salon I can use it in more productive ways now. When you are my age time is a gift and this way I can be ready to go in the blink of an eye. Which Paula Young wig were you wearing at the start of this video? Loved it. This Amazon wig had too much hair for me and no amount of working with it tamed it, so to speak, and I sent it back. It did look good on you.

Hi Bev :) The wig I have on is the Carson by PY in spiced coconut. My favorite wig but they are coming in a little less hair the last two I ordered so I am hesitant to reorder again but I do love her. I know this Amazon had a ton of hair but as all you do is where a headband tie with it and a few clips and waa-laa its flat. I am doing a wig review this week on another huge Amazon wig so I will show you some tricks to tame those big ole wigs. haha Thanks for stopping by and leaving me a comment. Hey Barb .. by the way were you ever called Babs as a kid? I was named after Barbara Stanwyck bc my dad loved her and she was called Babs so I always got Babs growing up. I'm sorry I got an Amazon CC. teehee Not to much styling to do on the Dance really, shake it plop it on and put a headband on it to keep it from being to full for you. Not necessarily a tied headband just a regular one you know like the plastic half moon type ones?? I think you said it was full and that will do the trick. Honest try it. Hi Babs. I love Lydell wigs, too. I haven't tried this one yet. I have 2 of their long shags and 2 of their short wigs. The curly one looks good on you! Maybe I will try one of those! BTW: I recently learned that we are not supposed to shake curly wigs. I really made a mess of a curly wig from The Wig Company, and then (after the fact, of course) read the little leaflet that came with the wig that said "do not shake curly wigs". So I learned the hard way and won't shake them anymore. Just thought you'd like to know for future wig adventures. Hugs, Shelly

Yes these Amazon wigs have a super ton of hair. Which is why they are heavier than PY wigs. They weigh like over 5 oz and PY whisper light wigs are like 2 oz or 2.5 at most. So it does make a difference. It doesn't bother me to much but in the warmer weather you could tell they were a little warmer. You get your moneys worth though. lol Hugs, Barb xoxox

I just ordered a few Amazon wigs, which I never would have dared to do before seeing some favorable KZbin reviews. When I received them I was amazed at how nice the hair looks and feels! I've tried them on but not worn them yet so don't know how they will hold up, but since I have more than one and don't wear them every day it shouldn't be too much of a problem. They are nice to have in one's collection along with some higher-end wigs. Your bio hair is very nice. I am blessed with good bio hair too, but like you I hate fussing with it all the time and I like to change my look, plus I love the convenience, especially when traveling.

Hi Rose, I have worn my Amazon wig A LOT and it still looks great. I have a wig trick coming up to help your wigs last longer so keep watching for that. Hi Barb, I got my Lydell wig and need to review it. I have Paula Young Chantal on the way and I'll probably film them the same day. The hair and color blnd on my wig is gorgeous and it's fuller than the Whisperlite. I'm going to have to tweak it some but as you said, for the price, they're great wigs. They are a tad heavier than our whisper lights but who cares for that money. I sent my one wig back to PY too bc it was nothing like the picture. Looks fantastic on you! The color looks so natural on you too. These wigs really do have a LOT of hair and you can fluff them up if you like BIG hair or sleek them down and they stay - or you can trim them up like I did! :-)

You know I do have hair but I am telling you it is so super soft and fine and I am such an 80's big hair girl that puffing this hair up took me forever and I cried every time I had to fix it. lol Then when it was humid out it just went flat even with a can of hair spray. Now I plop on my wig and I am OTD and no hair spray. I have saved so much money on hair products its crazy. :) I Just get it highlighted every 6 to 8 months and my roots maybe every now and then. Being in Canada it was $25.99.... a little more than yours, but still a very good deal if I like it! I did order one other short wig from Amazon, but not a Lydell, and it was supposed to be blonde, but it was salt & pepper grey! I didn't bother returning it....just packed it away for the nursing home some day!! LOL Hopefully, I'll have better luck with this particular brand! I have worn only pixie's...some shorter, some longer, so this one I ordered will be a real change for me. My husband has always preferred short hair styles (go figure?!!) and I have basically had a pixie style since I cut my hair at 15...and I'm 69 now! My favourite Paula Young wig is JANINE.....have 2 of those in Parisian Blonde. Also have a PY VICTORIA, a couple Jon Renau's and one Raquel Welch....but my go-to is JANINE. I hear ya about the hair products for bio hair....I have a cupboard of them too! I'll let you know how I like the wig when I receive it next week! Thanks again for the fun review! :) ~~Mavis~~

Go to Amazon and search woman's headbands and you will see them all pop up ...just make sure they are the wire ones and the long ones which are I think 38"in length. You will love them. It will make any wig cuter. Let me know. 💕

Hi Polly, the headbands are on Amazon. Just put in Woman's twist headbands in the search and you will see them pop up. Get the ones that are 38" long. They have shorter ones that I bought once by mistake and I do like them but they don't have as much to twist. Thank you for the compliment too. I have alot of hair but its so fine and soft and I am such an 80's girl that it takes me forever to style and oh man the products I have to use is crazy. Now I use no products. :) Oh yes the Buxom, you are right it is shiny and I am surprised I like shiny but it is soft shiny and so far my lids like it. Tomorrow they may go Nope not gunna happen but today it is great. I always put it on with a wet brush though which tones it down and also no fall out on the face. The color just brightens the eye to me. Let me know if you get it and if you do and hate it Ulta will always take it back. However they do have sample to try right at the store with a mirror right there so you can see if you like it. The weather is beautiful here in MI so far the humidity is down which I like. I use to hate humidity till I got wigs now it can rain and be humid and my hair stays in place and my makeup too with my BM setting spray I'm golden. lol TX is hot for sure but I still wanna visit that State one day. Dalgal 4sure Hi and thank you! My beauty regimen has been pretty much the same for 60 years :) I am very consistent with my moisturizer and my massaging routine especially on my face! If u watch any of my videos I show my techniques! I have a 10 sec plus rule for massaging my skin! I never ever miss a day! Ever! :) If u are a new subscriber Thank you for coming to my channel! Wigs.com is a little more money than Wig.com only bc they have alot of bigger name brands and do not sell Paula Young. Watch for the sales on WIG .COM They have some good discount codes. Hugs,

Hi I do love the headbands. You put them on and immediately look 10 years younger. Honest. :) They are from Amazon. Just put in the search woman's headbands or woman's twist headbands and they all pop up. Make sure you get the ones that are 38" long. Hi Denise and welcome to my Posse 😘 The headbands are from Amazon. Just drop Woman's headbands in the Search and they will pop up. They are the wire ones and watch they are the longer ones that are I think 38" long. Shorter ones are cute too if you have short hair but the longer ones are better and you can twist them more to stay in place. Hope that helps and thank you for watching, Hugs, Barb 💕

Hey Barbie, just go to Amazon type in Wire headbands for women and they all come up. Make sure you find the ones that are the longest. I have bought both but the ones that are at least 25-27 in long are the best and they are soooooo cheap too. Let me know if you find them okay. I have to order some more also. I love your wig reviews! I have been wearing wigs now for 7 years. And no, I do not have any medical issues. I shave off all of my hair, because I like to wear them every day. I used to buy high end wigs when I was working, but I am at home now, working my sewing business, and taking care of my Mom. Paula Youngs wigs have gotten a lot better in quality, but years ago, the hair fibers and colors were not that great. Thanks for all of your tips too! I am a hair bling girl too! :)

Hey Sonya, I swear I answered this but do not see it :( I think I have been wearing wigs a good 6 years pretty much everyday but the last 3 years every single day. My own hair is so soft and fine and since I am such an 80's girl I like big hair whether it is out or not. haha Wigs allow me fullness without all the backcombing stress and dozens of cans of hair spray to hold it not to mention expensive trips to the beauty shop. I feel free! :) Nice you have a sewing business. I love to sew but seem to have no time. I did a bunch of stuff a few years back and made a ton of outfits for my granddaughter then my machine wasn't working to great and she got bigger and I just stopped. But I love it. You can always return to Amazon! Take them right to a kohl's for returns and as soon as Kohl's does the return they return the money to ur AMAZON account right away! I retuned only one to Amazon bc they sent me wrong color! They sent me out a new one ! Most wig companies also do returns ! You might Lose a little with shipping but not much ! Hope that helps :). In Australia, Lydell wigs on Amazon Au cost $73.50 to $92.50. They’re definitely not worth that price. You’d be much better off buying Paula Young on clearance or Noriko/ROP on sale. Amazon USA is much better than the Australian Amazon. Returns can be difficult and there are major Amazon delivery issues in Australia. I don’t bother with Amazon Australia. You are fortunate in the US.

If you live in Au buy on clearance and get PY to post out to you, it's the cheapest way. They haven't arrived yet, I'm looking forward to their arrival. xox

Kathy W Hi there 😘 Try wetting ur fingers and working them GENTLY into the roots ! Or use a mixture of water and conditioner like Final touch ! Yep Final touch! Lol Try water first ! If it is to bad u could send it back ! Nah just work with it ! Let me know! Don't use a brush just a wig wide tooth comb ! Hugs Barb 💕
