Hi, go to settings, click on playback speed, then choose 0.5. that will be helpful

Good class, it's just that the camera is way too close. There's a few times when the hand signs are out of the picture frame.

This. Also it is entirely unhelpful how many times he taps/twists certain signs without explaining exactly how many are supposed to occur or what the nuance is.

I LOVE this. I watch a lot of ASL vids cuz I'm trying to learn, but sometimes I like a class that just shows the sign and moves on instead of stopping after to explain each one. That way I can learn more words. Thanks!

Instructor went WAY TOO FAST! I had to pause and rewind with every new sign. Camera is too close and some signs were not able to be viewed entirely. Otherwise, I did learn many new signs.

Many thanks for this session of ASL. I really enjoyed it. You gave me a lot to chew on so I will have to play it over & over again until I get the signs right. My nephew is deaf so I am going to forward this video to Jamaica to his friends who don't know or understand his sign. Friends, in order to keep this lady in business, we must watch all the advertisements to the end; &, the Advertising Company will pay her to keep coming.❤😅

Its good, but I am completely new, and when you go that fast, the signs wont stick and you will forget so when you describe them, the actions, it helps.

@nancyvillarreal80594 жыл бұрын
You only bounce certain signs based on how many syllables there are in the word/ phrase you're trying to say. Don't worry, over time you'll learn how to them quickly and smoothly :)

Depends on the sign :D Signs such as today have to bounce 2 but the majority of sign you don't have to :)

It would be good to know gender neutral terms, like person, child, sibling, and parent. From my understanding, I just have to spell out agender. I'll probably have to spell out nibling, too. There isn't even a good gender neutral alternative for aunt/uncle in English, so I get that. Thankfully I'm not one yet and probably won't be for a good while. And I'll never be a parent, but one day my friend will be, and I want to be able to refer to them.
