Another thing to consider. People of the pokemon world share blood with Pokémon. It’s already established that humans and Pokémon were in relationships. Plus in the anime people be legit tanking attacks that should have killed them 50x over. Even characters like slugma who are so hot just being around them would melt your skin right off your bones irl. I mean yea you’re still human so you have limits but you’re about as strong as an off brand harem protagonist maybe even more powerful

It's interesting that a lot of these designs keep a lot of elements that you'd think would turn people off in the first place. The Golem line still has jagged rocks, a lot of bugs and quadrupeds have centaur bodies, the Parasect line still has implications of parasites, and the Victorybell line will still burn you in acid. I'ma just stick with Wigglytuff thank you, I like her sense of style.

It makes the pokemon smash/pass challenge a bit more complicated, since most people either just smash the most humanoid or most furry picks. I could imagine myself smashing with any of these Monster Musume pokemon, the real question is "would I actually want to?"
