From here in the chilly mountains of western North Carolina your warm water sailing looks delicious. Mandy's birthday dinner looked delicious as well. The frustration of the water system and refrigeration failures were outweighed by the beauty of the photography. The perspective offered by the drone photography was only overshadowed by being taken under the surface of the water and seeing all that beauty.

(He was the real hero on that one) We knew we’d be doing boat repairs here and there - but I’ll be honest, I don’t think we quite realized the extent of it, and how continuous the diagnosing and fixing systems would be lol. Those relays. Lots of time the cover can be popped off and the contacts cleaned up with really fine sand paper. Just get rid of the corroded block and use those slip on spade connections instead! Nice in the Bahamas! Go find some good snorkeling.

I have 2 relay switches on my 49 Beneteau. What does the one do that is hooked to the water pump? Does it control the water pressure.

It seems I cant make the internet happy on where our flags are, but here’s a Google. “ As a matter of courtesy (although in some countries it is considered a necessity), it is proper to fly the flag of a foreign nation on your boat when your vessel enters foreign waters. The courtesy flag occupies a place in the hierarchy second only to the vessel's own national ensign. This is usually at the foreward starboard spreader on a sailboat or high on an antenna or outrigger on power vessels that have no mast.” We fly our USA flag over the Bahamas flag. As far as how high the flags are, that has much to do with keeping the flags from tearing apart on the shrouds. Although our Bahamas flag already needs to be replaced for this reason, but finding a replacement here isn’t likely. - Brian
