Start your children with the Holy Quran,it is the best creative book in the world and the best Book and will remain so till doomsday, even its recitation ( Two of its Surah) Surah Taha and Surah Yaseen will continue in Paradise.May Almighty ALLAH makes us of those who will recite It in the Jannah though we have no time to recite it here because of our lust for this world and its fleeting pleasures.😪

arent kids taught holy quran from young age? yes its great book but it isn't the only book. our kids would do well by reading quran along with books such as these.

Note that Holy Quran is a religious book and also tells about morals. But it is not a creative book. A creative book is the one that triggers your creativity, plant ideas etc.

There are like 700+ ayah that ask people to think or use their wisdom or ponder etc. Find those ayahs to research them. Don't rely on spoon-feeding. Stop keeping Quran on shelves and read it daily and you will notice your(any your children's) creativity grow in sha Allah.
