Very nice list of books; I have a couple of them but will be looking into the others. Art history was one of my favorite classes when I quit my job and ran away to study art for a year - it was great “artistic ammunition” to see how see the flow of history as reflected in art. I lost my art history book so I’m quite interested in checking out The Story of Art. Along those lines and in conjunction with the 101 Great Illustrators you mentioned, I would recommend Pete Beard’s KZbin channel which covers centuries of illustration - a treasure trove of history, styles, techniques, and inspiration. Thank you very much for the list!
