I see a lot of people speculating about moving to a new and more powerful platform for various reasons, but with this recent clone development it seems that the Mister is just starting to become much more popular than ever. Hi VGE, as far as i can see, there is no RTC module included into the Mister-Pi actual stack. Can someone confirm if that stack is still compatible with the Mister standard RTC module add-on ? Same goes for the MT32-Pi modules. Also i haven't seen any of the computers cores tests that benefit of such modules (AO486, AMIGA, X68000....). PS : I have on order the QMTech RAM included board since i could not manage to order the Mister Pi first batches. That one is not directly compatible with the RTC modules. It will need some DIY wiring. Hence my question for the Mister-Pi version.

Diff video signals use different sync types. Basically it’s the signal that tells a tv how to sync the data coming in to display the image stable on your screen. Some signals use csync (composite sync) and others use SOG, or sync of green, which is the green lead on component video. RGB uses its own independent sync cable and VGA has BOTH horizontal and vertical sync signals

The software is the same. The emulation on the fpga are also the same. Because there are doing the same !? The output should be also the same !? So they are the same output ! I don't think here is much difference between them except the price. The FPGA determs what happening so it would be identical ! Thanx for the content to explain. So the hardware difference doesn;t matten because the FPGA preforms the same on the misterboards.

Off-topic: I finally got myself a Switch. I was watching the M2 documentary on MyLifeInGaming last night. I also got myself the NES Switch Online controllers. Double the price as you now can't get them on the Nintendo store; and who knows when Nintendo will make them again? I don't need a 2 pack but going to give one to my nephew. With a bit of play on the NES Classic controllers I have, I actually prefer them to Super Famicom controllers for 2 button games. But, not for fighting games as the d-pad is too sharp.

Heya, just here to leave the obligatory "MiSTer Pi is a stupid and seemingly deliberately confusing name" comment. I'd feel less bad about doing so if Taki hadn't had a VERY direct negative reaction from the community yet still chose to go along with it, he kinda brought that on himself. Otherwise, glad to see that FPGA hardware is finally becoming more attainable for the masses. That benefits everybody and these projects are very seriously appreciated.
