I think you will likely go back and forth between the river and the clubhouse pool and hot tub! With 6 year olds in that heat, water is such a great way to cool off and tire them out! You're completely right Nancy - Skyler and Jamie have been civil and they have demonstrated immense love for these children and protected them as much as possible. I feel this is all the more remarkable as it is so rare! I thought it was a nice theory but clearly it isn't. Is it too late to hope they will adopt me into their family? :)

I'm raising my niece, she's 5(almost 6) & going to see inside out last week was her first time at the movies. It was interesting with just ONE kid, I can't imagine doing this 😂 Prior to seeing this, her fav emotion was Anxiety so when Anxiety started misbehaving, she was NOT happy 😂 "But WHY is she doing that? Why is she being bad, can you make her stop" Anxiety the character was giving her ACTUAL major anxiety 😂 We picked the only sensory friendly showing they had, which was supposed to be lower volume movie, not pitch dark, talking allowed but we got in there and it was SO loud, she does not do well with loud noises, at all and was upset. I had to go find a employee and be like "So is this the sensory friendly screening" 😂 turned out they forgot to adjust the settings lmao it was still a bit loud but she adjusted. She got a bit bored by the end I think, sitting still for that long is still a challenge but she's just declared that we have to see the new minions movie so I guess going to the movies with her will start being a thing

Yeah, but the kids get cold really easily because they are so thin. Even in the heat down here, pools can be really cold, so they need to get in the hot tub and warm up for a bit.

It’s interesting to see the difference in living conditions between you and Jaime. She has talked a lot about being on a tight income, lives in an older home that she’s budgeting repairs on, and does very few costly activities with the kids. Just curious if you have a second job on the side that helps you live with more wiggle room financially? Big day at the pool, can't believe how hot it is there! Lily was a brave girl jumping off the diving board once you got her started,lol. Logan found his tiny toy, that was amazing, definitely a busy day and I'm so happy to see Hee Hee there for a visit. Skyler, I don't understand why you get so cold in unheated water, what do you think it is? Glad the kids are getting old enough to almost hang through an entire movie, it was hard for me too when I was that young. Skyler, you are a great dad that's for sure. @bkm2797- Hope you dont mind me giving a theory on why the quints might be so fond of the hot tub. The house Skylar lived in before this new house had a fairly large sauna in it that the children used regulary last summer. I think they got used to it. They are also skinny and that makes them more susceptible to cold.

marinaseltzer1903, Don't mind at all, I've been watching Five Two Love since the quints were born, so yes I remember the last place Skyler lived and the perfect indoor pool/sauna, but my curiosity is more with Skyler being so sensitive to cold. The kids are used to the temp their dad feels comfortable with, but I'm thinking they are more Ok with it being a little bit cooler.

marinaseltzer1903, Yes, Skyler prefers cooler air temperatures, but prefers warm bath water to swim in,lol. Yes, he is a great dad, and very sensitive to his kids needs no matter what. Great family, love seeing the quints grow, and I also enjoy Landon and Shayden, it's amazing how much those two have grown as well, great kids. 👍❤️

Skyler, try having them the quints float( head down) and kick! Movement in the water will warm them up fast. Try to see if you can recruit someone like Shayden, HeHe or Landon to help you teach them! Those beginner kick boards that swim schools use are good also.

I took my grand kids 7, 5, 4 and everyone was great for the first hour ! After that I kept hearing " is it almost done Gramma " lol It's fun taking kids to that stuff though! Hi Skyler, Daisy, Violet, Lily, Lincoln and Logan, I loved looking at, listening to and watching this 13 minutes and 19 seconds video of you all swimming in the Pool at the Country Club. The Pool at the Country Club looks stunningly beautiful with very clear water. Daisy, Violet and Lily you make great Mermaids and so do you Logan you make a very handsome Mermaid. Logan I am so happy to see that you found your pink lizard that you took to the pool to play with. I hate seeing you sad when you lose your pool toy. Seeing you sad breaks my heart, as you are such a sweet, kind and caring young boy and I love seeing you happy not sad. Way to go Violet for jumping off the diving board. Well done Lily for being a big brave girl and jumping off the diving board into the nice cool clear pool water I am so proud of you for doing that. Skyler I love the little stream of water running through your back yard it makes a lovely sound of running water, like a water fountain or a little water fall. In Florida a lot of clubs will have swim teams, especially in the summer. It would be a fantastic things for your kids. It teaches them the swim strokes and give them endurance. My kids started at 5 and 6 years old.
