Taking a break & dealing with RUDE comments....

This channel is about our daily life raising our 2 boys and our daughter who has Down Syndrome.
When we first found out about Eva's diagnosis we couldn't find many KZbin channels from families in the same situation, which is why we decided to start this channel.
We are just a simple, average family sharing the joys (and sometimes the challenges) that raising a child with Down Syndrome have brought to our life!

Those who don't know our dear Princess Eva, don't know that on my roughest of days, her beauty, love and heart genuinely make my worst day better. As soon as I see her and she see me she runs to greet me, (not presently of course, because of the Covid-19 pandemic) and gives the biggest best hugs and anything that was making my day difficult fades away. Those who think that criticizing any child who has a disability which is not their fault are a disgrace and hopefully as they age they grow in compassion toward others but to do so they first need to grow a heart. Evil resides in the hearts of men but love conquerors all and I pray that they realize just how hate filled they really are.

Eva is beautiful! You are such a good mom and we love watching your lovely family. Please don't get discouraged by these negative people. My daughter is 3 months old now and has Trisomy 21 She is starting to roll over but she can't hold her head up yet but she is so determined! I see eva and I imagine my baby just as sweet and beautiful as her when she gets older.

Thank you for sharing your journey. I found your channel after receiving a prenatal diagnosis of down syndrome for my son. It was all very overwhelming for my husband and I after finding out, but watching your channel and seeing Eva really provided a lot of hope and comfort for the future.

I will never understand how incredibly hurtful humans can be toward each other. My son has been made fun of from ADULTS because he is autistic and stims and talks to himself alot as it is a calming technique he does. I would never change a thing about him as he has brought me so much joy in my life!!! P.S. Eva is absolutely precious and adorable!!!! Block those hateful negative trolls.

I'm 20 weeks pregnant right now and I was told there is a big possibility of having a child with down syndrome or other "defects". To be honest when I received the call I was terrified. I don't know many people with children with down syndrome. My first reaction was negative thinking this is terrible. I started looking for videos of babies and people finding out they had positive blood work. I couldn't find much, but then I found your channel. Such a "normal" family just living life. It made it seem less scary or negative. A lot of people are very uneducated about this and so am I. If I'm honest I thought people who have down syndrome were something out of this world and not so normal. Obviously I was wrong you have a beautiful daughter and wonderful family. I will have an ultrasound and more tests done this week, but thanks to you and your family I feel more prepared for whatever happens next. Thank you.

Hearing about your life at the moment takes me back just some short years ago and reminds me of when my phone rang with the news of that same possibility. At first I was in denial and thought no way this happened to people that I knew that they were told there was a possibility for Down syndrome but their results came back negative and their baby was healthy so I'm sure that's the case with me too. Then the more I thought about it I thought ok what if it is positive...I would think no please God, not my child please let her be healthy and "normal". Just like anyone else just learning and it I had no idea what to expect or what kind of life she would have I thought the worst for her. I understand your emotions, and I want you to know it's ok to feel them! Never feel guilty about being scared or crying about it... because it can feel scary and unknown and of course you worry for your child and their overall health. I too looked for videos of "real" families and not just documentary videos or short picture slideshows with music which was all I could really find... I'm so happy you stumbled upon our channel and that you felt more calm and encouraged! I know this waiting game before you find out the results is kind of a strange time...but I'll be thinking of you! @@OurExtraGift went home 6 days post op. Had follow up yesterday She is doing wonderful We are working on her feeds, she takes partial bottle feeds and the rest tube feed. So blessed! She is more active than I’ve ever seen her.

Dear Family... How on earth could anyone criticise your little angel? You know that the real amongst us have loved keeping up with Eva's progress and the love shown each to the other in your lovely family. I have been shielding since last March and today have been given the chance to "come out " into the world for the first time in a year. I have relied on channels like yours to keep me sane during my lockdown . It has been one if the ways I have been able to have joy in my life. First of all I am sorry you have had to experience all the negativity. I know hearing hurtful things about any of our children is never easy to do. Thank you for pushing through and filming anyways. I know that it's people like you, Good wholesome channels that can show the world the beauty in children who happen to have special needs! There is so much good it will always outway the bad. The more the world sees our beautiful babies the more they will learn to love them for all of their qualities. I am pregnant with a little boy who has down syndrome and I love having your channel to see what life with him may look like. I have had some experience in school with DS ( used to be a buddy at my school where they would pair us up to help out) but I never worked with anyone under the school age and honestly didnt know about health problems and things like that our dear Hunter might experience along the way. Being pregnant and seeing other moms that have gone before me with children with DS makes me realize just how precious of a gift they are. I hope that you are encouraged and continue your channel it really helps me and other moms know there are other people walking the same path. With the isolation right now its hard not to feel like your struggling alone. Be blessed momma ! Enjoy your family and disregard the hate. Eva is absolutely beautiful!
