As many of you may know, my wonderful, caring, loving father passed away 2 weeks ago at the age of 45. Needless to say it’s been a rough past couple weeks. Thank you for all of the love, prayers, and condolences. They’re very much appreciated❤️

We were there from 1991-1995. It was our 1st PCS after I got off active duty I went to Guam with my husband. My 29 year old son was born there in 1992. He has hopes of going back there someday to visit. Things have changed alot. But, I enjoy seeing your video/vlogs. My condolences to you and your family. I know your father is VERY PROUD of the young man you've become. Continue to focus on this wonderful OPPORTUNITY to document your Air Force career/travels. Even if you get on here and make videos supplying other young men with information about being in the military, eventually your channel will grow. Post "consistently" (at least on the same day/time twice weekly) so the You tube algorithm can pick you up. This will help you gain subscribers! God Bless.

Hello Joe, I do not know if will ever read this but I hope you will. I ran into your channel as it was on my recommended viewing for KZbin because I have posted a video on my channel from my visit to Guam in January 2020 and often look at videos posted about Guam. So I subscribed to your channel after watching your video Anderson AFB Tour. I watched a couple of your other videos as well. This video touched me in a special way. I was 17 years old when I entered the USAF July 27, 1977. While attending tech school (Electrical Power Production) I received news on the Saturday following Thanksgiving that my dad had passed away on that Friday. My dad was two months from his 45th birthday. The news hit me like a ton of bricks. My dad too was a loving and caring father. In fact, I was hospitalized with pneumonia while in basic training and my dad flew to San Antonio to see me (he was USAF Ret). It would be the last time I saw him living. By the grace of God I went on, growing in my USAF career. I too wanted to make my father proud. I have learned to live without my father living and 45 years later I still miss my father. I see that you are a Christian (5 Life Lessons the Military Taught Me). Keep the faith no matter what challenges, trials or tribulations come your way. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; may the LORD lift his countenance upon you and give you peace.

I appreciate your comment. There are a lot of similarities between our stories and it helps to know I’m not alone. Today’s actually my dad’s birthday and next month is the 1 year anniversary so it’s been especially tough the past few weeks dealing with all of that. Your words are really uplifting tho and I thank you for them. Praying for you as well that God continues to comfort and strengthen us during these tough times no matter how many years go by❤️

My father died when I was 7. I go to basic training on May 4th, it sucks now but it'll get better with time. We're not supposed to understand why things happen just know God is in control. Be great 🙏💯

This is a few months later but I am so sorry for your loss and your tribute to your father was so heartfelt I had tears in my eyes, I had just watched your video where you had taken us on tour around the base and so I felt like "OH No" when I heard you speak in this one. My father has been gone for 30 years, and my mother for four years, and I miss them both like yesterday, but you know, they are both with God and watching over me. You said so yourself, and this is your comfort. I am praying for you, and while you are away from your family serving our country, Dad watches over you above. Be well.
