Renjun is such an underrated dancer, I never see anyone talking about him but this choreo especially lends itself to his various dance backgrounds (ballet, contemporary, hip hop, etc)
@hwangseungmin64134 жыл бұрын
Renjun really fits this choreo. I feel like not very many people consider him a strong dancer compared to the dance line, but he has this urban groove that the other members don't quite have. Idk how to explain it! He showcases it well 2:24-2:29 and also 3:17-3:19 and also 4:10-4:12. He showcased it really well in Boom too, during Jaemin's part. Anyway, I wish people would talk about his dancing more, but alas.

I totally agree, I enjoy Renjun's moves the most in nct dream, his moves are so subtle and sharp at the same time. I don't know why his dance is so underrated, the only reason i can think of might be his body type (being little small in size compare to other members) limited his overall performance. Yet of course in my view that's also a lovable part of Renjun.
@hwangseungmin64133 жыл бұрын
@@szetingbellamy2317 I really enjoy his moves the most too! He's so clean, so detailed. The clarity? The precision? The musicality? The coordination? I don't think it's his height. Ten is Renjun's height and he's still viewed as NCT's main dancer. It could have to do with center distribution and his average stage presence. He's a great dancer, but he lacks power. His facials can be stagnant at times too. And all of that could be why people overlook his dancing compared to, say, Jeno who is a naturally powerful dancer with incredible stage presence or Jaemin who's sharp and receives a good amount of center time. Unpopular opinion, but I personally think he has a slight edge compared to rest of 00 line as Dream's second best dancer. But to each their own!

Yesss! What I really liked about the dance is you could see each member's style through the choreo. Jisung owns that killing point choreo

I agree with you. SM Ent. promoted "ridin" in a period that is too short. And in my opinion, after I watched ridin performing several clips on youtube. I saw their perform on stage has mistake. I think NCTDream members 've got urgent comeback program. I observed when the company prepares plan to comeback for NCT Dream, it happens in a relatively short amount of time, compared to previous comeback.
@xinruchen35724 жыл бұрын
NeungGozzii yeah, it does seem like that for this comeback... if I didn’t remember wrongly, they have even said they were still practicing to nail it while shooting music video.... anyways, hope that more attention is paid on them... even though nct itself and the scheme are constantly changing....
@meganluk80454 жыл бұрын
@@xinruchen3572 to be fair, all idol groups are still in the process of perfecting their choreography when they shoot the mv... excuse me for dragging bts in but a prominent example would be the choreography for idol, where the mv still had a draft version of the chorus dance. but yeah, definitely, the riding comeback was so rushed and brief.

im pretty sure that if SM gave a lot more support to nct dream in terms of promotion, variety, and etc. nct dreams will be a lot more successful than they are now and would be able to do a concert world tour too like nct 127.
@ibizamarquina7933 жыл бұрын
they're def the most successful unit out of nct in Korea even with the half assed promotion and comebacks they've given but it sucks that sm doesn't realize or if they do, they don't know how to promote them more or they just refuse to do so bec their plans is to focus on the other unit. Its really evident with how they always got the firsts in nct, first music show win, #1 chart, etc with very high album sales too even with just a mini album.
@jumbohotdogkayamobato99033 жыл бұрын
I may be a year late but I'm proud to say that SM's now giving 'em the promotion that they deserve and even fair line distributions! Especially during the hot sauce era where they gained more than 34m vi3ws in just 24 hours (The highest record among all SM artists), became the youngest million seller group (Average age), the first SM artist to reach 1m sales on the 1st week, and hot sauce is the first NCT album to reach 1m sales on Hanteo chart. They are also a double million seller (hot sauce album). This is what will happen if every fans gave their bestest effort and the company gave them proper promotions.

The choreo was made by a dance crew called Kinjaz. You should really check them out if you don't already know them. :) They are kinda a staple in the urban dance community.

Can you please do a review of all Seventeen choreos? It’s hard to find dancers that actually review the dance (and not just sit there and gawk). Another question: is your bias in Dream Renjun?
@todosung4 жыл бұрын
i only have one bias in nct just to say i only have one (it’s jungwoo) but if i had a bias in dream it’d be renjun 😌😌 also for sure, i’ll add seventeen to my list!

todosung I figured you like Renjun because of his fancam that you put at the end( I mean, who doesn’t like that angel). I’ll be waiting for your SVT analysis (I recommend Thanks and Fallin Flower)! 🙂

I'm not a dancer so I don't know how to word this, but since boom, dream's choreography looks more free idk. The verses' step varies by members and the only part where they dance together is in pre-chorus and chorus. I would like to learn the choreo but i think i would look dumb if im alone doing it XD. Also i really don't like 127's member change in their choreo. You know where they ditch other members to do a 5/4/3 man steps. It may look good on stage but i dont really like it if there is no fancy camera works happening. I would like to know your opinion about these two. also wayv's choreo is like an average choreo (not that it's easy or something but they follow the common styles of a kpop choreo with every members is always on the stage and mostly doing the same steps)
@todosung4 жыл бұрын
i agree on all of those ! nct’s 5/4/3’s choreo works on music shows, but sometimes having the same members in the front/on can make it feel empty
