I would put it as S, purely because it's one of the only redemption arcade games I've seen that have a completely different mode when redemption is turned off. I have played this mode a couple times, it's a lot like the classics with levels and bonus stages, just with the cross hair fps style of course.

Just got back from my local arcade, I was able to win 3 jackpots in 5 attempts. It's so easy, but the ticket dispenser takes FOREVER for the tickets to be added to the card, easily 4-5 minutes everytime.

There's an arcade around me where the score never goes above 30k so its basically an infinite ticket generator

3:05 - The manual, if it states that, is incorrect. If both players pass the jackpot score, they will both get the jackpot. I have seen a single person play both sides and get the jackpot on both sides too. The advantage of being ambidextrous.

hopefully you can also cover Bubble Bobble Frenzy as well, that one is a great ticket farm if it's set to Redemption Mode also for a while this game used to have a 1000 ticket jackpot but once was nerfed to 100 somehow after too many people won it, and eventually went up to about 500.

finding a space invaders machine is a dream of mine since i honestly love the space invaders series, but god damn i've been to every arcade in the northwest of england & i can't find a cabinet to play on :(

have you checked the zenius vanisher website? they have a map where you can search arcade games to find nearby cabinets. i checked and it looks like there's a lot of space invader cabs in england!

One other tips I learned about this game is, Sometimes the high score requirement is higher in multiplayer than it is for single player. If this is the case, start a game as 1 player THEN join in as another player after the game starts. There's a good maybe 5 second window where you can join.

Just curious: why is it an A tier? It’s on a payout and many places only allow 1 win and then it jumps up. And you won’t know the score required until you play. I’m just curious what the criteria is for your rankings. Personally it’s a B or C tier depending on where I play.

I'd be curious to know if those arcades changed the payout default. I find when it's at 40%, it's easy to work around as long as jackpots aren't done back to back. As for the score, I usually don't touch this game until I see a playthrough that reveals the score requirement. I can't do it myself, but I have seen the game be won during the "not paying out phase", so I have to give it the merit. These probably would have been good talking points for the video instead of "be a sustainable farmer" 😅

I've played both versions. Including a double jackpot version. It's not easy to get a double jackpot but it is possible. The arcade one is ton of fun with a lot more playability to it. Though you get no tickets I like it more because you really get your money's worth at it and come out feeling joyful having played it. Personally I give the non ticket one a S. But I have to give the other an A- solely for that damn 500 ticket screen. They don't spit out tickets anymore. There is zero reason for it to take so long to load to a card.

My primary gripe with this game is that you have to wait for the jackpot screen to finish before you can begin another game. At my local arcade I found a game nearby that I don't mind killing time on while the tickets count up, but it's a bit of a pace killer to have to sit and wait to play again. Otherwise A+ game for me.

The tip is to save the power ups until later in the game and shoot the bottommost aliens. It’s also wise to shoot the UFOs when you can. Once you know what to do the game is easy money

im the only person ive ever seen beat stage 3
