Someone probably already posted this. It looks like you are in an infinity cabin. If that is so, the window definitely opens. Ask your cabin steward. The Captain can close them in bad weather or high wind.

I just took this cruise and the window definitely opens. He tried to open it when they were still in Seattle at Port but the captain keeps them locked until the ship is closer to departure time.

Loved the Edge in Alaska. We sailed in May. It’s the perfect ship for a cold weather cruise. On Our last cruise to Alaska, it was too cold to use the balcony. So with the infinite balcony you can sit and take in all the scenery! We’re on the Ascent in the Med in September. May not like it as much on a warm weather cruise. Apex was great for Iceland and Norway too!

Hey guys, excellent vlog! I'm behind on some of your videos but some how the algorithm pushed this one first? 😂 Anywho...I think you guys would do VERY well in Seattle. I lived there for 3 years. While it is very pricey, you could move to areas like Tacoma or Olympia...even Yelm and it is less expensive than Seattle. The Asian cuisine out there is absolutely amazing. The natives are friendly and very open-minded. From what I can remember, the hottest time of the year is like 2 weeks in July...outside of that. mild temperatures. You would have to contend with the rain though, but it's only a light drizzly rain for the part. Loved that you joined MAS 3.0... I remember yall on MAS 1.0! Laura you better super glue that ring on your hand because one false move and it's off your finger!😂😂😂😂 I like the kid hours in the solarium because that means any kid that shows up outside of those hours..it means we can boot them out and tell them to come back dueing kid hours.😂

I was born and raised in WA, and as beautiful as it is, summer is the only desirable season there.
