Q: When are you going to add the Multi-Terrain Select & Crawl Control mod?
@camilosanchez24753 жыл бұрын
I have to agree with you on making the holes slightly bigger and good washers. After installing bumpers, armor, and all kinds of things I find you have to tweak something each time to a make it fit. Thank you for showing how not everything is perfect in the aftermarket world.

That’s one hot looking rig! I’ll definitely do the interior lighting upgrade on my 4Runner. What a difference!
@robertedwards74303 жыл бұрын
I would have never thought after the 4 runner you would wind up with a Lexus given your overlanding lifestyle. Love your videos, been watching you guys since day one, everytime I watch one of your videos it's crazy how fast time passes. I love your sense of family and realism in your videos, its so refreshing to see in the times we live in.
@Jeff_HellensBridge3 жыл бұрын
I just bought a GX a few days ago. It was the same price as a 4runner with similar miles and it is a way nicer and more capable vehicle. These things are a hidden treasure.
@brkbtjunkie2 жыл бұрын
It’s actually a natural progression as the gx460 is a land cruiser, in which Toyota takes the features of the 4Runner and turns them up to 11. It’s also a body on fully boxed frame, has a higher payload rating, and like all land cruisers, are made in one specific factory in Japan where all they make are land cruisers.
@280zone3 жыл бұрын
ABSOLUTELY agree, on asking Manufactures to enlarge the holes just a bit. Very frustrating to balance these heavy items on your head, knee and shoulder for seven bolt insertions only to realize number eight isn't going to go in. I know, I know it probably fit before powder coating or paint but now that it is pretty it doesn't fit.

Australian mods are the best. They do some crazy off-roading (touring) down there. One of the youtubers from there chopped the back end off a 200 series land-cruiser and replaced it with a canopy.
@LifestyleOverland3 жыл бұрын
Every mod is purely dependent on the quality of the engineering involved. I've seen good and bad from every corner of the globe.
@MizeraAdventures3 жыл бұрын
@@LifestyleOverland sure but the market for off-roading in Australia is over twice the size as here in the US. That means more manufacturers, more research, and more innovation. Australia’s giant off-road market is definitely nothing to scoff at.
@MizeraAdventures3 жыл бұрын
@OFF ROAD METAL yes the US has some potential for growth in the off-road market but currently it’s nowhere near the size and scope of Australia’s which has significantly more land, history, people and companies involved. Australia has several legs up in the off-road market currently so it stands to reason their mods, on average, are better. (Of course that’s not always the case.)
@LifestyleOverland3 жыл бұрын
Just so we're clear, I would never scoff at their rich history or experience. But I've seen just as much bad with the good from many countries. It truly comes down to engineering, testing, quality control, and craftsmanship.
@MizeraAdventures3 жыл бұрын
@@LifestyleOverland Agreed. All I’m saying is in Australia their market is bigger which means more testing, research and engineers dedicated to making quality off-road mods. Of course I don’t mean that everything from Australia is good but it’s silly to suggest that their market isn’t more capable of producing quality mods. Sure you might be able to find a small startup company making mods of equal or even better quality here in the states but Australia’s market is far more established and makes high quality mods for a fraction of the price.

I wanted to say more than 6p0 miles, but seeing how heavy she might be now, she might be drinking a little bit more gas and doing around 10 miles to the gallon.
