I can remember back when I was a kid, my late dad hired Jim Daniels from Warsaw NY to do all our combining. I can remember Jim having the older John Deere Combines and he would always upgrade. It was nice seeing the changes over those years of me growing up. Back then, my dad planted corn with a Ford 309 2 row planter. We did about 60 acres as cash crops. Great video Tom

There's still a couple TR combines working in our area. Definitely good machines.

Great Video! Thanks for sharing your background with all of us. Love the toys in the toy shed...everything looks good! Is there any way NH would've had a reverser option back then? Prob a dumb question, but that pedal resembles a reverser pedal if there was such a thing back then.
@Thewaywefarm24 күн бұрын
@@EDBZ28 Thanks Ed. It has a hydraulic lock for the head latch, that might be what it is, I have to look closer.

Very neat old combines. I've got a sales brochure on the NH "Corn Combines" that's still in great condition. What engines were used in them?

@@steveogden1829 That’s great! My friend Jason says he has one for me, I love old sales literature. They had Ford industrial gas engines.
