I have a used jazz quartet that I took to a lego fair a few weeks ago. It didn't sell, but it got a lot of people's attention. I think I had 4 visitors inquiring about it, because they had never seen it and they liked the look of it. When it goes on sale, I'm definitely getting some. It's great for people who are looking for something different.

When I bought the Classic TV Series Batmobile to build I got one of those Books Are My Passion sets. I’ve already sold it on eBay for £45 (including postage) so it was basically like getting £40 back from the cost of the Batmobile set. I think you should carry on the Crap Packaging of the Week, especially if there are some very bad examples.

I think some of the companies you order from Iain, like Argos etc send sets out in bags is to save on postage costs.

Lol "Crap packaging of the week " I will just add yes packaging can be better from the stores, but some "scum" vehicle delivery drivers do not give a f*** how they treat the packages ive witnessed many throwing them etc and have seen the mess in the vans its a lottery every time whether you get someone that cares or not. I say the more we complain about the broken packages the harder the companies will act on the idiots anyway another great video Iain keep up the good work 👍👍👍

Thanks Rob. I think in my case the packaging was mainly to blame. Thin box and packing bubbles not surrounding the Lego inside.

Crap packaging of the week? Love it! Retailers that either send damaged goods as new (Amazon and LEGO in my experience) or with inadequate protection resulting in damage should be named and shamed.

I bought the villain icons set from Very and it came in an outer protective box. So it must be hit or miss as to whether they send in a box or not. It’s sold out on Very now too.

i bought the same set from very 2 weeks ago and my box was the same as your 1st one ... but hey ho they are sold out on very now so guess best to have one with alittle damage then not have one..... love the jiggle mr music man ;p

Edit: So many sleepy heads working in the packaging and shipping department as these stores - we would like our order(s) shipped out in a stronger sturdy cardboard box when it comes to Lego sets as it isn’t too much to ask for. I could understand why a lot of America’s are soo frustrated with always receive their boxes damaged or not at all due to extremely long travel, tornados/hurricanes/snowstorms/dusk storms/ highway pile ups and the amount of theft of mail trucks and porch pirates they get on a yearly basis I have just received an email from Evri! They’re finally receiving GAME orders! 🤞 -Jason

Just an update from GAME Iain! Now the sets they’re sending out are stated as “none mint” What does this mean.. damaged boxes due to flooding or smoke damage, minifigures removed from the sets. No idea but I will keep you informed. -Jason

Hi Jason. Thanks for the update. I had a set from Game a few weeks ago. Apparently the 'none' relates to the colour of the item and the 'mint' I assume is the condition. Frasers group sell a lot of things that you can choose the colour of, but when there is no colour choice, they apparently put 'none'. All very confusing. Hopefully your item will arrive undamaged

Depends where you are, but in the UK you can normally get more than one gwp if you place separate orders. I just wait till I've had the full confirmation of the 1st order before placing the 2nd one

True, but Frasers / Evri won, the the Lego box was damaged more
