Collecting tons of stuff is sure the downside of this craft, but it always feels so good when you find just the perfect item for a journal in your massive amount of stash!

I will be watching. I have started sorting and organizing my craft room. I went on a spending freeze last February. Since then I have only bought a wee bit. I can’t wait to see your progress as you figure out your room.

I've heard that, but I have a really hard time getting rid of anything!

Yeah, this reminds me of what I was like. I get dopamine from shopping so I was doing way too much of it. I stopped the shopping and now I get dopamine from taking pictures during my photography walks with specific subjects or colors or themes in mind (it’s a lot like shopping) and during day trips or road trips so I can put the pictures or draw the pictures in my travel journal. I also love taking pictures for my nature journal and journaling in nature. Using a camera for my hauls gives me the same dopamine without the stuff, plus I have a record of my day, which is nice.

That's a great replacement for shopping! Cooler weather is coming, so I'll be doing more outdoor activities and less shopping!
