Louder Now is my favorite album, it's timeless. The other album that comes close in production is "The Verge" by There For Tomorrow. I've always think that that album has the same level of polish as Louder Now (not comparing the two bands btw, just sharing!). I'd recommend Hunt Hunt Hunt and Nowhere Blvd from that album

Really didn’t know how intensive it was to work on that album. But it makes sense. That has to be the best sounding TBS record, and one of the best sounding albums from any of that music of that era. All that hard work and attention to detail definitely paid off

This was my first album I brought from Tacking Back Sunday. I was in sixth grade when I saw the music video for “Makedamnsure” on MTV and I’ve been hooked ever since. I will die listening to them

I was really late to discovering Taking Back Sunday and Louder Now but it honestly changed my musical trajectory in a big way. That album and those songs are constantly my reference for a lot of my own music and Fred's blend of rough but beautifully layered vocals has been the standard I've set for myself for years. Thank you Taking Back Sunday for Louder Now and thank you Fred for being there even though everyone else got to leave. You've touched so many lives that I hope it made the sacrifice worthwhile.

You guys announced you were singed to Warners at the show in Vegas too. Louder Now changed my life. I'm a musician as well and I've always said " I want my band to sound like that record ". What a perfect record and Fred truly shines as the MVP OF THAT album. The Era of TBS with Fred and Matt , WYWTB to Louder now is my favorite Era of TBS. Thank you so much for the music!

Louder Now was truly one of the greatest albums of my youth. It turned me on to my love of music and inspired me to learn. Divine Intervention was literally the first thing I taught myself to play on guitar from reading tabs, before I even understood chords. Fred, you were an inspiration to a young me. Your band changed my life. It kept me going in times I didn't want to. Even my 94 year old grandma got down to it. Thank you for giving us this music. When people ask what era-emo I was, I always start with, "Taking Back Sunday," and a little shimmer of grey hair always shows. But I'm proud to be a fan and always will be.

I’d love to see this line up back together. Where you want to be and Louder Now are both fantastic albums front to back. I remember buying Louder Now from an FYE store in my home town. It was the first album I listened to, front to back that changed my life, and made me appreciate good albums as a whole, not just singles. The DVDs were cheesy but definitely showed that you guys loved each other. The live tracks were bangers too. Glad to see you doing this stuff, General Fred!

I admittedly didn’t discover TBS until quite recently but it’s been fun listening to the albums from that era on repeat and discovering your channel Fred. Everything was so crisp to a point on this album I think you guys did great my band had a producer they made me do multiple multiple vocal takes prior to other I was 20 I’m 24 now but it taught me a lot so I’m glad I’m on the right path seeing my favorite band did it the same way thanks Fred

I just want you guys to know that I bought that album the day it came out because my friend told me that it was gonna be awesome. And it changed my life. Its still my favorite album to this day. I have a tattoo of some lines from twenty twenty surgery, at the time that song was resonating with me. But every track is perfect in my eyes. I can listen to this from front to back over and over. I had just started to play guitar. Fred and Eddie are such a huge influence in my guitar playing. And Fred, you also influenced my singing. I always thought your voice commands space in the songs, which is awesome and really refreshing compared to pretty much every other band. So thanks man. It might be hard to tell but you guys made an impact. Especially to me.

Man, that was so insightful. It actually brought me back, years ago, when I had my "shot" in a band that had the potential. Our producer changed me forever, and for the better. Am so grateful for those experiences, and now carry those skill sets to self producing, and live production. Eric sounds like a real workhorse, but the results, I believe, speak for themselves. Taking back Sunday was a huge part of my life and especially Louder now getting me through life...I always jammed out to it in my room cranked up singing along sometimes lead and literally the only group where sometimes just singing your powerful parts Fred.... I loved the track Miami and always disappointed I never got to hear it live all the times I saw TBS back in then day … TBS always had really strong albums with tracks I would never skip! Thanks for making my school life bearable and giving me something to do in the summer when you guys were touring, it kept me out of trouble trying to see you guys and learn all your music on different instruments! TBS created a nice spot for themselves in the scene that has influenced a generation so thank you for all the sacrifices you made over the years to make this all work!
