The neighborhood of Englewood on Chicago's South Side is among the most dangerous in the country. There, gun violence is a daily occurrence. But this isn't a story about shootings. This is about a group of mothers who are standing up to the violence with the type of stern love only moms can provide. By keeping their eyes on the street, feeding their neighbors and embracing their community (both literally and figuratively), Mothers Against Senseless Killings are making Englewood safer, one day at a time.
