Spot on. I’ve got 6 just did it for curing the boredom of lockdown. There looking brilliant, wired two also but took it off now. Quality video, beautiful maples. Good job 👍🏻

Buenas, lo único debes colocarle un poco de piedras o algo de carbón en el fondo de la maceta para que el sustrato no se vaya por el fondo con los riegos. Saludos

Ukigumo is one of my favorites. I bought one last fall and it hasn't showed any white like yours. I think I have it in too much shade maybe. Thanks for the video. Hard to pot and hold the camera 😁

I have two, the other one is planted to receive an afternoon sun and this little one is kept in a shade and potted. Still on experimental stage. Thank you for watching my video. Cheers!

Hey Zman! My experience is that especially Ukigumo does much better in shade. In my parents' yard we put it in a much shadier spot last autumn and this year it looks great as never before!

@@Acerdorer thanks! Maybe next year it will show more variegation. It's still a baby 😁

They are usually green, mostly for the first year after buying or repotting, I believe due to the nutrients in the compost.

Will be re potting my first little japanese maple soon. So you just use compost? I've seen other videos where 3 to 4 mediums are mixed together..

I only use ericaceous compost when repotting and rain water. Thank you for watching my video. Cheers!
