Hello can you use coco coir as the potting medium for these succulents?

Thanks. Was wondering what to do with mine since some are stretched out. I am worried bugs might get on them

Bugs haven’t seemed to bother mine but I have had issues with squirrels m

My echeverias that are in my windows are getting stretched. Do they just need indirect light to keep from stretching when they are outside or do I need to let them get some direct sunlight?
@AngelsGrove2 жыл бұрын
Indirect outside is perfect. Inside they need full.

I live in SoCal and keep my succulents outside. Lately have been noticing completely dried out stems - particularly the part that is touching the soil. As a result, the rosette starts drying out too! What can I do to prevent this?

Oh I wish we could keep them outside all year here! I haven’t had that issue before. Do they have rocks around the base? I wonder with it being so hot if the rocks are getting hot and burning the stem? That would be my guess but I’m not sure, sorry 😬
