No offsets, no problem! Haworthias are very easy to propagate even without any babies forming to separate. Here are two of the best methods to propagate it fast.

Thank you for showing the different ways to separate them! I apologize because i have a couple questions and i know this is an older video... I'm subscribed now and will go through the rest, can't wait. But, these are more time sensitive questions that I'm already thinking i messed up😢 which is all i seem to do especially recently. So... my husband and i will be driving to see our son and his most recent apt, and he's never wanted plants as he was busy and gone blah blah blah :) so, i was surprised when he said he remembered my pothos and how kinda dangled and he's put in a couple new shelves and wondered if he could have some of mine, to have them be from mine made it more special to him then just buying one. So, of course im potting up some of those😊 BUT... i saw this goofy lil' round-ish pot with a funny face and tiny arms holding a guitar, im sure everyone has seen it on Amazon. And since he and his roommate play many instruments, including a big selection of guitars, that this was a must for the smaller shelf he made above that collection. Only for him would i pay that much for a tiny pot that I'm trying to make a clear plastic saucer fit, but cutting it down or at full height, it covers like half of him up🙄🤦‍♀️ So anyway, sorry, you dont want my life history.. though i say that when ive already done so😬I'm old, sorry😂 So i didn’t want to put pothos in it as its so small, so i wanted something semi slow growing, easy to care for and look like awesome crazy hair growing out the top, so, found a tiny one of these ($7😲🤬🫣🤷🏼‍♀️😆❤️) at Lowes. We saw it had 4 lil babies, maybe less, growing off to the side at the base of the momma plant, who is only a few inches across herself. So i biught it figuring that since this is a succulent i don't have, the big one goes in his pot and I'll take the babies and we'll share that plant as well. But, i read (after buying 😬)some things not caring about size of babies when separating, others saying needs to be much bigger.... but, i have to make up the several pots of things I'm bringing him now as we leave soon and i hoped to get them settled, giving all plants a week to see if anything crazy happens as I'd rather have it happen here then with him. So... yea, that was waaaaaaaay too long... I'm so sorry and no worries at all getting back as I totally understand that you're no doubt super busy! Awesome channel and i can't wait to go through more!! Thanks!!😊

Thank so much for this video.Do you plant the babies with the root immediately after seperating from the mother plant? or do the roots also need to rest in the open air like the cutings?

Do you ever plant the bulbi that grow off the flower stalks? I’ve read that you can let them get bigger on the stalks and let them bend down to a pot of soil but haven’t seen anyone do it yet. Thanks. I like your video very much. Helpful. And your voice and way is gentle.

Hi, I found this so bizzare yet utterly fascinating! I have a larger Haworthia that has recently started to bloom. When I repotted him I did notice what I thought could be offsets starting to grow. I had a cooperii come with 5 babies. They are currently in soil and 3 have roots already and that was like a month ago now. I just got two new ones, a Big Band and a Limifolia. I'm on the lookout for others

Thanks so much for this video. How often do you water them. I had separated a huge plant but I don’t water them for fear to let them die. Not sure exactly what to do with them. Great job. Blessings and take care.❤❤❤

I water only when the soil is completely dry. You want to error on watering less because they can rot easily. I have a video on watering. I’ll find it and post it for you.

Hi! I have another question. Is the zebra haworthia the easiest haworthia to grow? I’ve seen others and they don’t look anything like the zebra. I have a zebra and I want to grow a different one too but it has to be easy. I usually kill my succulents / cacti. Thanks!

Once they have dried for 10 days, do you plant them in moist soil and wait for them to develop roots on their own? Thanks for teaching us all about succulents! Ive been spending all winter trying to save from string of pearls from mealie bugs :( it is not working and I'm so sad! I caught it too late because they were hiding at the base of the plant!
@AngelsGrove

Good question. You can do either safely (shouldn’t rot), but I usually plant in dry soil and just treat it like any established plant by watering the same and with the rest of mine. Technically the watering won’t do much for the plant until it pushes out roots so you can wait awhile to water if you would like. But for easiness, I just throw it in with the rest of mine. Oh no, string of pearls are always the worst for mealy bugs! I pour rubbing alcohol on mine and just take out of direct sunlight for awhile and it sometimes seems to do the trick.

Does anything grow back in the spot that you cut on the mother plant? I saw that little brown spot that makes me think no. But if you do this to an echeveria it should grow babies on the mother plant. I realize these are two very different plants so I was just wondering.

Getting too much sun. Put them in dark/ very very low light and in about a 20-30 days it will be back to green. I had left one zebra, on the terrace and had almost forgotten about it. It was underwatered and all brown coloured thin leaves. I put that in shade and did the watering, it was coming back to green very very slowly. I then brought it inside the room where it is turning green now quickly. So best is, put the plant in dark area, it should come back to green. Also watch out on watering, since the drying up of soil would be slow.

I missed it somehow I see you propagating but I never heard you say how to make the babies grow fast and if you did I'm sorry I missed it so could you just quickly tell me how can I make babies quickly. Or just tell me where number to start on the video to start watching it.
