I do the same thing you do with the apple cider vinegar but with my shampoo. I dilute a lot into one of those spout bottles, which are a God send when your go to protective styles involve weave, and squirt it on my scalp and rinse. Just answering how to get shampoo in your hair when you have a sew in. Thank you for your video this validates everything I am doing..

When I was my hair underneath my sew in , I use the rubber nozzle thing, I put my shampoo in the bottle & put more water than shampoo then it's a loose liquid. I just squeeze that and use my fingers to really work it lol

I do the samething. It really works

so you use the apple cider vinegar mix , then deep condition isn't that putting the product right back cause I have a net weave
@JaiMarii8 жыл бұрын
the apple cider vinegar is taking the place of shampoo. u can do either or to cleanse!
@myrandamontoya66228 жыл бұрын
Cause its super hard to get the conditioner out so if I just do the vineger like every two weeks it will be good cause I still use the Jamaican castor oil
@JaiMarii8 жыл бұрын
+Myranda Montoya what about trying to do maybe more water than conditioner in the bottle? so its a looser? if thats a no go. just use a leave in conditioner to keep.your hair moisturized BC that is always my objective. let me know if that works!!! :)

Does it make the weave stink with the apple cider vinegar. Because I use it on my natural hair but does the smell get embedded into the weave or your scalp?

Do you use heat on your leave out daily and if not how do you get it to be so straight
@JaiMarii7 жыл бұрын
I never use heat daily on my leave out. What I do is flatiron my leave out and immediately after ( like when it's warm) I apply a heavier product. (My Honey Child Type 4 hair creme with JBCO). Every night to keep it straight I simply twisted the hair going down ( like starting a bantu knot) but instead of making a bantu knot, I bobby pinned my hair down & slept with satin scarf. I hope that makes sense!
@amandapettway42117 жыл бұрын
Jai Marii thanks so much!! You always respond, I appreciate that, not everyone replies back on you tube..lol😊 I will try what you suggested at night with using bobby pins.

How do I rinse the conditioner and vinegar out without getting the actual weave wet?
@JaiMarii8 жыл бұрын
j stewart I don't think thats possible. You will most likely have to get your weave wet.

with sew in does your scalp breath? can you still feel air on your scalp....does the water tangle the thread?
@JaiMarii8 жыл бұрын
if your stylist does your sew in correctly none of that should happen. I don't get a net on my sew on bc I like to be able to get to my scalp to oil and moisturize it. water does not tangle the thread.

@JaiMarii4 жыл бұрын
Try blowdrying on cool.
@TheSharpFamilytube8 жыл бұрын
So you simply put the apple cider vinegar and water in an applicator bottle, apply it to braids/scalp, let it sit for 15mins w/ shower cap then rinse and deep condition? Lol I want to make sure I understood correctly before I try.
@jessemichelle29488 жыл бұрын
did you end up trying it? I want to try it too..
@TheSharpFamilytube8 жыл бұрын
+Jesse I did! Works wonders
@jessemichelle29488 жыл бұрын
Wow okay that's awesome, so how much do I put on? Do I cover my head in it? I'm so new to this. I've had about 2 sew ins and I never knew to take care of my hair under neath .... So this time I'm going to do it right..hopefully 😂
@TheSharpFamilytube8 жыл бұрын
+Jesse I used a tablespoon of ACV and 1/2 - 1 cup water and yes wash out then deep condition sometimes I would even apply it after shampooing. Applicator bottles will be your best friend while wearing a sew in lol
@jessemichelle29488 жыл бұрын
+Vania Patterson ahh thanks so much! also should I put oil on my scalp? I just have this olive oil stuff from my beauty supply store. is that okay to use?
@isabellacappellieri20107 жыл бұрын
so do u section the hair first before u do it or do just wash the scalp and the extensions all at once , im getting my first weave in 2 weeks and im trying to get as much information as possible like especially when your doing the oil do u just go over all your hair plus the scalp
@JaiMarii7 жыл бұрын
Bella Cappellieri Yes...when doing all of this you can def do it in sections depending on what kind of hair you have in. Do whatever makes you feel comfortable and whats the easiest. When i have in curly hair I do these steps in sections....straight hair no sections ☺
