Emmenette Mason the Lords Supper is for our benefit just like baptism. There are no rituals or symbols in the New Covenant but Christ Jesus is the substance Colossians 2:17. It is the fulfillment of the Lords Passover Supper .For Christ Jesus our Passover has been sacrificed 1 Corinthians 5:7. This had to be one of the most powerful sermons I've ever heard. Listening to this sermon began a series of events that led to my deliverance from sexual addiction. It was the realization that I continued to accept the invitation of demons to their table. Honestly, it was a decision I made repeatedly that would start my Romans 1 cycle. Once I got serious with Jesus, my whole life changed. Side note; I've been a Christian for 20+ years. I never heard something like this before. Thank you Father for equipping Dr. Tony Evans to know how to break things down in a way I can understand. If it wasn't for Jesus, I wouldn't be here today seeking him with all my might. Praise God for the depth of his Word!
