Self-Realization Fellowship monk Brother Vishwananda shares wisdom from Paramahansa Yogananda on how to become supremely victorious in life by applying the principles and techniques of yoga.
We are made in the image of the Divine, and the purpose of life is to discover within ourselves that true divine nature. Through the practice of meditation, and keeping our minds ever on the Divine, we can become more peaceful, more understanding, more loving - and change and uplift the world - no matter the circumstances we may be facing.
This talk was recorded at the 2007 SRF World Convocation in Los Angeles; Brother Vishwananda became vice president of Self-Realization Fellowship in 2021.

My husband left the home 2 months ago, I am here with my two children, 10 & 13, it pains a lot, I miss him a lot and am loving him deeply. It gives me comfort to know God is listening to my heart's cry, and I am getting to practice patience and develop deep faith in God and Guru that there is a spiritual lesson for me to learn (to forget of the material world and sense seeking comfort) but find him and connect with him, there I will find ultimate joy and peace. To be honest, it is not easy, but I am doing it with God and Gurus blessing and strength and I know he will not let me fail. I also believe there is a lesson God is teaching my husband (he is an aetheist), whatever he has to learn and work out his karma, so that gives me comfort and intutionally I know he will come back to me. This is God's plan 🙏 Hope I am correct 😅 Jai guru....Blessings and high vibrations to who is reading this 🙏
