I had the same experience, but I’m in idaho. Might try to start a Facebook group so we can all work together with problem solving when these things break…

When was this filmed? I really want one, but it seems like a lot more delivery videos should be out there.

Sept 2023. My advice if you want one, put in a refundable order. If they are a year out on orders better to have the order so you have a choice at some point...

What kind of riding are you doing? How's the range? Curious about your range and how long you ride for a day.

I have it at my cabin and use it to run around the property. Haven't used it more than 30 minutes a ride yet and used up probably 10% on that ride. What has surprised me the most is it's convenience. Just hop aboard, hit a button and off you go!

I have a Taiga Nomad. It takes about 10% to heat up the battery. So when I start my ride it's at 90%. I ride for 45 to 50 km on range mode and when I get back it's at 30%. The acceleration on sport and wild mode is very impressive.

@@reclusedman8538Does it have to heat the battery even when being charged until you start your ride or just when you start riding it without it just been charged?
@reclusedman85388 ай бұрын
@@drdryyls I don't know yet. When it's fully charged, it shuts off. That happens durind the night and in the morning it's cold. Today it was 7 celsius and it did not need to warm up, it was ready to go at 100% battery. The accelaration on sport and wild mode is insane!

Has the British company that bought out the remains of Taiga contacted you to indicate if they will support with any parts or service? Shocks and skis you should be ok (Elkas and any Yamaha store) but I'm really curious about the Taiga specific parts which sadly are most of them. Most of that skid looks like you can just order by size so that hsould be ok. I'd assume a track can be located at Camso.

Does the manual say “No water skipping “ or “Stay away from water”? 😅

@@illgiveitadiytry so there is no risk for fire or explosions when the snowmobile gets wet ?
@dfreadhoff Жыл бұрын
@@WyteOutAK lithium ion batteries don't explode. They can go into a thermal runaway that is hard to extinguish. This will only happen when the cells are damaged like a penetration. The good news is that thermal runaways are not that dangerous as far as peril to human life...kind of like being afraid of sparklers on the 4th of July. So as long as you don't wrap the sled around a tree, no need to worry about any fire!

@@dfreadhoff that’s awesome. Cool to know about it more. Would be possible to mount a generator on the back to keep it charged for like long rides? Thats Something cool to experiment if it would work!?
@reclusedman85389 ай бұрын
The manual does say to protect it from rain.

How much millions of dollars are these 😂
@illgiveitadiytry Жыл бұрын
Around $20k, fuel and maintenance are a fraction as much so there is a point at which they are cheaper than traditional ICE sleds. Also, the cost of not smelling like gas fumes to priceless :-)
