If you drop aggro on the elite with feign death, after the bot gets aggro, you could try tapping the elite for a tiny bit of threat again so when he feign deaths you can keep aggro on the mob and kite it on him to maybe kill with aoe or something.

He can get on the aggro table when the bot gets low, bot feigns and dragon aggros to Tzubaki, simply need to kite back to the bot and feign afterwards.

This but the hunter doesn't need to be the one tapping. Turn off pet taunt, and just have it run in and hit it. You can then use passive to have the pet stick to you and you can hug the bot while your pet tanks while you try to get the bot tagged again

I always try to do my part by reporting bots, as its quite obvious to tell with their Chinese pet names, robotic movement and lack of communication. Yet it's so sad to see them continually roam Azeroth for weeks on end without any punishment. Thank you for keeping the HC community honorable and safe!

Wow this was so good! Loved the story you told, and great production as well. I just wanted to throw out one suggestion you might consider, after watching the video of the bot with a grey weapon, it might be fun to inspect all the bots as their corpse rots on the ground as like a finishing move or something. But thank you so much for making these, they make me so happy!

I will try to remember inspecting them next time. I am sometimes shaking on my hands after a kill because it can take several days and 50 attempts before their script has a flaw and they die 😉

Partly true. Lazy players buy gold, which creates demand, so people bot, which inflates gold and ruins the economy, thus rendering legitimate gold farming methods not worth the time investment. This is a cyclical problem.

cool video man and good stuff. talking about what the bots could potentially be farming might make these videos really cool for people that don't play WoW. i know most of them are just focussed on raw gold, but I watch a lot of runescape bot hunting videos and i dont even play runescape, but they always say things like "I found a bunch of bots farming the bingus from the glup gluppos" etc. think it's pretty cool.

I think we could get some people cheaply geared with just +stm gear/enchants. Main issue for the kiter is to have enough HP/mitigation for multiple attempts, possibly some mp5 would help with kiting. This would also help if you decide to ping pong aggro if the bots are starting to FD immediately.

You know since vanilla with their mangos script they have built in detection for idle player activities also numerous other built in anti cheats. Blizzard is allowing this to happen. I wouldn't be surprised if they had their hands in this but imo they 9nky care about the sub count.

​@@degz1sthis is what I say to people. It's actually not illegal for Blizzard to sell gold for their own game. Dishonest, but I don't think they could have the money taken off them if it was exposed. Strikes me that Blizzard are watching bots profit from their game, so why would they not bot as both a way to counter this and make extra money selling stuff to players on a third party site.

As always, doing Gawd's work. What would happen if you brought in surrounding mobs & held their aggro after the initial elite killer mob & then offloaded them to the bot after they FD'ed or Petri ran out? Those would be on CD & their helath would already be low. Just spitballing here.

We had a go at killing the bots in azshara. You needed a Naxx geared tank and healer. Clumped up enough Naga onto the bot and wait for it to aggro the mobs then petri. The trick is to have the right number so the bot uses heal pet until it has no mana to feign for itself. Then ded bot, expensive but fun.

For the future will you be able to drag the dragon to the bots and instantly drag another mob thats a dragon next to them? As dragons share the same faction I believe they tether once near eachother in combat, thus once he petries you just stay near him and perhaps it drags him into combat again? Some weird coding shenanigans.

You might have to put yourself at risk to fizzle their feigns. If you feign, let the bot pet tank the mob til it dies, and then hug the bot you'll eventually be tagged in again. The bot feigns, you now have aggro, so have your pet take it while you stick to the hunter (passive after it has aggro so it stays with you and the bot) and wait for another cleave/cone/aoe, and then he gets tagged back in with his feign on CD. Yours should be ready by now, or you should be able to run/stall long enough to get it off... But if your second feign is resisted then that's dangerzone. You could actually maybe do exactly this, but use Eyes of the Beast to control your pet and use that to tag back in instead. Then it's your pet who has aggro on the bot feign and you can keep your distance

4:50 - he FD, yea, but what if you'd hit that dragon with AA when bot is somewhere around 50% hp just to make sure that if bot (operator at that point) will use FD you have the grip on that dragon and he wont go anywhere and right after, when mob is about to use his breath again, check if you're cleaving his body on the ground, which will lead to consequences :) ? Or it isn't vailable ?
