This piece was absolutely stunning! Could listen to an album full of these kinds of pieces! On a side note: can someone tell me what controller he is using for the dynamics and velocities? The one with the pretty colors and sliders, thanks!

You have excelled yourself. Love the way you haven't gone down the obvious 'pretty' route with this lib. Great sounds and treatments. i reckon a remixer could make something really slamming out of this idea.

Notwithstanding my previous comments, I love this, Christian.

Oh boy. Downloaded it but I haven't had a chance to play with it yet. Now I'm going to have a hard time not stealing some of your ideas. Fantastic creation CH!

Just bought the library and can't wait to get playing around with it (once the mammoth download has finished). Christian, this piece is truly epic....any chance of an extended version of this on the EP/Album you mentioned in one of your latest videos? 🤞

Christian, you mentioned 'if you were to arrange it for the choir' @5:25 and I'm glad you did, because one of the questions I had was how do you keep a track of the articulations...the oohs aahs and na na nas...so that should you want to have a choir perform it, you can point to them in the score in word form (if that makes any sense?) Do you create a track per articulation and then comp the lines into SATB?

anyone knows what's that controller with 18 faders he has on the top right of the desk? thanks

Wow, isn't that like $10,000 spec'd out iMac Pro? I'm surprised and a little concerned the EW choir tracks needed freezing on that beast. In the past you've said you were not able to run into its limits. What would EWC do to my MacBook Pro?!
@TheCrowHillCo6 жыл бұрын
EWC is fine, the tempo sync'd stuff made it grumble a bit thats all.
@ericfischer56056 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Christian. Also, freezing tracks isn't the end of the world anyhow. On a laptop you gotta get used to it.

Great track, I just feel like the choir was hardly used. But love all of your other writing techniques for sure!

The word awesome is horribly overused so let's just say that track is a Crazy Beautiful Monster.

Eb is not the 'root' in this piece - Eb is the TONIC (the home note of the home key). Each chord has its own root so chord I has Eb as its root (but is also the tonic of the key).
