You know Spitfire has attention to detail when the color of the tracks matches Oliver's shirt and his pedals in the background, and it's all in the color scheme of the BDT ;)

It took me 5 minutes to figure out the velocity and playing of the layers, then I was transported. Excellent work!

Got this toolkit and I can’t say enough good things about it. Going to be hard to write a cue without using something from this amazing library. Wow, just wow. Knocked it out of the park on this one, Spitfire!

Beautiful library! I always enjoying watching the Spitfire videos with cousin Oliver. Beautiful piece he came up with also. :)

great track, Oliver! I love the clarinet sound in particular. It feels so monumental in this context.

Amazing library, but it sounds like it can only be played in one style. Just texture chords with a slow melody on top. Could you guys showcase this library in different styles or is it specifically designed for that slow texture style of playing? Either way it's still very inovative and a great New way to go about composing.

Nathaniel Pettifor it was designed for British TV Dramas, lots of character development, not so much action. Interested to know if you could pull off mystery with it as well, but yeah, it seems a bit limited in the way that it’s fairly specific for its use. That said, it’s also coming in a great price, and the underlining concept of it is something they seem excited enough to try with other future libraries. The idea of a Sudo live mix through velocity is nothing new, but for Spitfire it’s a step closer to an new MPE based library - which is very exciting! What makes this approach different though is that they’re actually triggering different patches entirely through velocity triggers. Cool stuff - I’m interested to try this library out on a ROLI specifically cause it’s designed for longer notes :)

Agree with Bryan, Most Spitfire Libraries specializes in that slow, brooding kind of feel. I too can't wait for Spitfire to do more action oriented stuff, but you can never go wrong using other libraries combined with Spitfire. IMO, Spitfire makes the most realistic

How expressive does your keyboard have to be? He seems to be pounding the keys for the louder sounds.

This is not fair, everytime I see Oliver using a library, it gives me the final push to buy it. Please let me saving my money :(

being a geek ... in my head im thinking can i implement that software technic by layering different style of instruments ... i know its more than that :) I'm just a hobby composer ... this could be my birthday present

Hey Oliver, does the korg nanocontrol work for expression etc? Because i've got the feeling that it's a bit to small. Looking for a good affordable fader controller.
@DEEECKED6 жыл бұрын
I thought it'd be too small, but I use mine for expression/dynamics/vibrato/etc and it's great! Highly recommend a gen 1 if you can find one used.
