Oh my gosh my bf and I just talked about this too. Our anniversary is coming up so I started planning a weekend trip and budgeting for it. I'd never think of pairing the pieces together the way you did. also love how a random girl just made you a compliment as she walked past you. one of the things I remember from when I visited NY was that a lot of strangers on the street just complimented my outfits out of the blue.
