I've only ever had the demo for this game on PSVR & that alone was a blast! Also, apparently there are some easter eggs in this game that confirm it takes place in Insomniac's/PlayStation' Spider-Man universe!

Sure, customizing the weapons is important but customizing the look of the suit!? Now that sold me! Looking good as a super hero is always a higher priority to me over being strong lol!

Iron Man VR was the major game that made me think I want to play Third-Person Action Open-World Iron Man Game and then we got Iron Man Game announcement from EA Motive which is real great news since they made Best modern Remake game known as Dead Space Remake. Apparently, they're hiring developers who are experts at Unreal Engine. So if its true, it's gonna be greatest Iron Man game. But until knowing more, Iron Man VR is still the best Iron Man game ever came out, outsmarting movie Tie-Ins.

Had an absolute blast with this game the second I started playing, Iron Man is just the perfect hero for VR since everyone wants to be in that suit and all the levels I played are fun and exciting (or creepy in a good way for the cave level), and just customizing the suit itself is fun, I regularly change the style to use every suit, my favorite maybe being Scarlet Storm, with my main weapons being the repulsors that are more like beams or something than quick blasts, rockets, and bombs but I still enjoy using different ones. I haven’t been able to play many VR games but this one is easily my favorite, it just satisfies me in almost everything, Spider-Man Far From Home VR just got boring not long after starting, Batman Arkham VR freaks me out because I’m sensitive to stuff that feels like horror, and Rec Room is just fun chaos with friends but not something I regularly go to or do on my own, this one is just so much fun for me regardless

I’d really love to have more expansive and interactable levels. This game is at its best when you’re given the ability to fly high and far without hitting invisible walls, so I’d love to have that feeling expanded on. More villains would be great too. Off the top of my head, villains like Crimson Dynamo, Blizzard, or Mandarin would be cool. I’d also like to see the customization expanded on too. It’s great in this game, but in a sequel I’d want even more lol. Things like more outfits and weaponry, but defensive options would be cool too. Like a shield in your gauntlet, similar to what he has in endgame, or some way to counter enemy attacks. Idk, I’m probably going to be pondering this all night now lol. What/who would you like to see in a potential sequel?

Awesome I like your Iron Man villain choices but I want the sequel to be more ambitious like instead of just limiting themselves to Iron Man villains only have this version of Iron Man fight magneto or doctor doom in VR that would be awesome to experience like imagine fighting magneto as his hurling cars, buses, trucks tanks,planes, ships and whole buildings and bridges at you that would be so epic and with doom they could adapt stories from the comics like legacy of doom or doomquest where Iron Man fought doom

I didn't even think about latveria as a full explorable area where I can fly around as Iron Man and fight different types of doombots yeah more Marvel comic book locations like that I love the idea of going to the bottom of the ocean to Atlantis to fight Namor that could be scary or going to Asgard to meet Thor and fight fin fang foom etc also Id love to play in the hulkbuster suit to fight or team up with Hulk that would be a cool experience in VR marvel game the scale of that would be awe inspiring like imagine being a giant 10 foot tall Iron Man

@@alwaysnerdyretros A hardlight shield would be awesome. I'm not sure what all the weapons are currently in the game (living vicariously through others since I don't have VR capability) but I don't think I've seen a flamethrower or freeze beam. Those would be cool.

Don’t know if you take request or not but I recommend reviewing the official x-men game that came out back in like 2006 if you haven’t already. It gives a cool costume to Nightcrawler & gives the x-men in general more colorful costumes.

I think the meta quest version of Iron Man VR looks and performs better than the original psvr version also I think it has more content

The ability to move around freely without any wires on the Meta Quest 2 alone made it more enjoyable for me. That added a lot to the immersion and made it my preferred way to play

It’s like you’ve been reading my mind lol. I’m actually really itching to do some silent hill this year. Don’t tell anyone, but I’m really wanting to do a PT retrospective around Halloween, and maybe a Silent Hill 2 retro nearby it if I can squeeze it in. I’m still trying to figure out how best to approach Silent Hill 2 with the remake coming out. Like If I should focus the video on the original, or focus on the remake and describe the differences. Not quite sure yet. What do you think?

@alwaysnerdyretros thanks for replying I think you should focus on the original one because that game is very close to many people's heart It is a complex game but very symbolic at the same time It has many different themes and I like how you unfold it all (my personal fav yt videos are yours arkham origins one and the whole pt playlist) The original sh2 set a benchmark for survival horror genre and I'd definitely like to hear your take on it

I'd prefer to own it on Steam. VR is too niche for exclusives imo. It's nice having games right on the device, i play beat saber on both Steam and Meta, love both. So I see the point when it's rhythm games and the connection is affected.

Yeah it does. Especially in the bigger combat environments where you’re given a lot of freedom. It’s really easy to mentally start role playing as iron man. I wouldn’t be surprised if you had dreams that you’re iron man after playing too. I had a couple lol
