Just information, about the temperature: Indonesia use Celsius, USA use Fahrenheit. So, 24 degree Celsius is cool and 24 Fahrenheit below freezing point.

u are right! why do we spend more money if the 2nd and the 1st class are the same, the chair is totally the same. The only difference is the 1st class has less people. That's it. Really not worth the money for 40minutes ride. But wait until they expand the rail network to Surabaya then it would be worth the money :)

Yea been there last year they pickpocketed my wife, tried to charge us more for our meals (restaurant not streetfood) and tried to charge us for parking 100,000 rupiah and everywhere i saw trash on the street or sidewalk. Scooters ride on pedestrian sidewalk. Zebra cross has no meaning there they dont stop. Parking where ever they want .. but nice malls tho

Yes it's rain a lot in Indonesia for some places, even they named one of the cities in Indonesia a "Rain City" which is my hometown :) It's problably because we only have 2 seasons here, Rainy seasons (November - April) and Summer (May - October).

This train look pretty nice but this project was a competition between Japan and China and China won because of course it was cheaper, let's hope those trains and infrastrucutrure will not fall apart over the years and no major incident will occur...
