FYI, hotels in second city in Indonesia always very affordable. You can always choose 4-5 stars hotels with price around Rp.350.000 - Rp 1000.000,- in a 5 stars quality. But in Jakarta for 5-6 stars hotels u should pay mostly around Rp.2.000.000 - Rp.5.000.000 ++ ( mostly in the week end or high season). But trust me, u will have a very good qualty & services. You will have a good price on week days, low seasons and if u are a KZbinr with good followers & subscribers, u can always try to make a promotion cooperation with their management. They could give amazing extra discount or even free for at least one night stay. So when will u come to Indonesia then? For a newbie u can start from Jakarta - 5 days Bandung - 3 days Jogjakarta - 4 days Malang - 3 days ( Bromo etc) Bali - 7 days. All of it not includes the arrival & depart time from & to US.

Name of city: Yogyakarta: Yes it's confusing for tourist about the spelling of the name and how to pronounce it. Some pronounce Yogyakarta and some Jogjakarta. Well, the latter is old spelling and the other is new spelling. So if you for instance read local newspaper in Indonesian language you will understand that letter J became Y and previous Tj become C.

Yogyakarta is officially pronounced as written, with Y. But most of the time people just pronounce it as Jogjakarta or Jogja for short with J instead of Y. It is perhaps because Bahasa Indonesia used the letter J for Y and dJ for J in the past. You can find metal detectors in hotels, malls, office buildings, and other public buildings in Indonesia because we had bombs planted in those places back then when terrorism was a serious threat. Infamous hotel bombings in Jakarta includes JW Marriott Jakarta bombings in 2003 & 2009, yes, you heard it right, twice bombed. Afterwards, metal detectors are just a part of our daily life.

15:12 Talking about metal detector, they are almost everywhere in big building here in Indonesia. The reason is quite serious. There was terrorist attack happened like 2 decades ago in some hotel. Perhaps it's for one of the safety reason to prevent event like that happen again.

Metal detector in hotel coz in the past (in 2000s) there were some teror attacks in Indonesia. The big ones were bali bombed (in clubs), jw marriot hotel (in jakarta) n australia embassy (in jakarta). Another was Poso bombed (in central sulawesi).

most of Indonesia's major public places (malls, library, office buildings, hotels, park, etc) got metal detector and sometimes K9 unit, this is because Indonesia has been victim of several public bombing by some religious group in the past, thus since then it's mandatory for malls, hotels, and office buildings to have metal detector, and big malls usually even have no video recording rules and some area that near any governmental facilities have no drones rules

Usually average fancy hotel in Indonesian only around 20 bucks per night esp in less touristic city or place like Jogjakarta, Bandung, or any other islands Or city other than Bali & Jakarta......even 10 bucks per night is already good hotel in some cities,, me i live in rested house we call it Kos kosan, its good and comfortable with 2 rooms and it only costs 100 bucks per month,, even some Kos kosan with 2 rooms only costs you around 70 bucks per month and yea they are good just lk normal houses with 2 rooms, kitchen, toilet and everything,, you can just fill it up if you want

Our goverment keeping try to controling inflation rate and purchasing power of people here.About transportation, plane most expensive because has basic payment in dollar stardard for salary for pilots but there are many choices like various railway services, ferries/cruise ships and buses service depending on your financial budget and desire that you want to choose. Like train services, there are so many classes, from economy class (including AirCon) to Premium Class such as this in the videos or First Class such as Suite Compartment, and than there is a rental service per carriage with extreemly luxury, called Luxury Priority Class with a rental per carriage of 25 M IDR or 1700 USD for 5 hours rides and max 17 peoples per carriage including karaoke, meeting room, lounge, kitchen and buffet food 2 times. While affordable hotels like in this video are included in affordable hotel rates, the price is categorized as a middle-class hotel / boutique hotel / transit hotel, generally in the city center, not in the coastal area / tourist area center which includes 2-3 star hotels whose rates depend on which hotel club and location. But if you stay in the beach resort hotel or cottage near the mountain, it at least has a rate of around a minimum of 150 USD per night, some even 1000 USD with luxury facilities complex hotel.

15:12 Shortly after October 12, 2002 (The Bali Bombings), all Hotels in Indonesia put those metal detectors to scan guests. Not just Hotels but also the Offices, busy crowded Work Places and Embassies. At the gate entrance (not all but some) they also place couple of securities (some have K9 squad) to stop your vehicle (usually Cars/Mini buses/Buses etc.), scans and check under the vehicles & baggage compartments.
