please consider changing out the slicks, your very rarely going to get them up to temp riding it on the street. i just dont want you to come off it due to cold tyres. love the content as always, your bikes are phenomenal.

Generally curious here, but don't slicks provide better traction in dry weather than normal tires? And is tire temp even an issue when in southern CA the coldest it gets in the summer is mid 60 F at night. Obvioulsy street tires are the smartest option for street riding

@@LJ_S1K i think your more of an expert than me. you know slicks do provide better traction in the dry weather and i know the weather in CA is rather warm a lot of the time, i just dont know how fast or how well he would get them up to temp driving on the street, its very grid like, stop go stop go, then the street is bumpy, pot holes. i cant imagine those slicks are cheap to replace either. i know on a racecar they dont last very long.

@@LJ_S1K No, racing slicks on a motorcycle require warmers in any ambient temperature. You also need to be able to keep them at that temperature and the only way to do that is pushing hard on a race track. No matter how hard you think you ride on the street they will never even be close to optimal operating temps

@@EvilDogger Ahh ok that makes sense. But is that optimal temp for the track? Like on the street do racing slicks have less traction than street tires on a dry summer day? Also, im not trying to defend the use of slicks on the street, im just curious if they provide less traction than a street tire in the same conditions

If your gonna carry a stand in a backpack every time you ride, I'd definately get an actually stand installed. They don't have one to save weight for the track, but you put it on the street so... Cause that setup looks like cancer! The bike is amazing though!

Just out of curiosity, would anyone be able to tell me the rules on track bikes in the US. Here in the uk a bike like the H2R or the HP4 isn’t road legal at all weather day or night due to not having indicators or lights as long as I’m correct on that. Is it any bike goes in the US just obviously not a good idea to ride at night with no lights?
