i have question for everyone please tell me now my budgies are mating im new with birds so yeah do i let them out THEY ARE VERY AGGRESSIVE THESE DAYS but i will get a new cage now its small and they go in the breeding box alot but the girl dosent let the boy in yeah i see them head bop so yeah please tell me i also use the tree branch i cleaned it also tell me what food i should give them other than vegetables and these things they just take it off the food thing and start eating it from the floor then it gets finished cuz it falls down so i dont want them to starve to death by only feeding them veggies cuz they finish a little in less thatn a minute

Please don't put harnesses on your budgies they are very small and fragile,they are not meant to be put on budgies.

@@sarahsenthilvel8559 The harness I am using is the smallest aviator harness that is meant for budgies, i get that most budgies end up not being comfortable with the harness and if my birds end up being like that i would never force them to wear it. I understand your concern though, but i really do want my birds to have a chance to maybe be able to fly outside. But if my birds arent comfortable with it i wont ever make them wear it.

I just got my budgies new stainless steel food bowls! My dad kept refusing to buy new ones cus we already have plastic ones and he doesn’t see the point to getting new ones, so I made them stainless steel ones for free! It took a lot of hard work, patience, and planning, but I’m really happy with the outcome. So basically, we had some pine wood left over from when we made their play gym and we had stainless steel sauce dishes that we got in a set of plates that someone gifted us ten years ago. So I drilled some holes into the wood to make a bracket for the stainless steel sauce dishes. Then I used some steel hanger bolts, stainless steel washers, and stainless steel hex nuts to attach it to the cage. The birds are still scared of it, but I can’t wait for them to start exploring it!

Today was the last day with my baby pigeon. I saw her in the morning and now.. she is no where to be found.. she was a important piece of my life. I hope she is safe wherever she is, she is getting food... she is probably in the sky right now. I will miss her.. she made me realize not every animal or bird is gonna live with you forever. @@uniquedepro50 you should add some calcium block and a cuttlebone for the female They are super hormonal after breeding. Since, the female is fertilised she might lay eggs. Takes about few weeks for first week and pls add some pellets and some fruits. Fruits should be offered every 1 week because they have a ton of sugar. And pls don’t disturb the female if you do she’s not gonna incubate the eggs. And yes it’s natural for female to not welcome the father too and owner 😂 And it’s good that you are offering them veggies, you are doing good so far. I’d recommend a flight cage for em’ and you might need a medium cage for baby budgies lol Edit: if there’s no calcium source female might eat eggs and be prone to egg binding be careful. @@uniquedepro50 yes she will eat her own eggs. You’ll need about 2 blocks of it ( mineral block, cuttlebone ) I can give you the link for Amazon if You are comfortable telling me where you live. If she does eat one it doesn’t matter tho she know what’s she’s doing. And she will eat only one. For example if she lays 12 eggs she might eat 1 or 2 to Limit the pressure on her and the father totally natural don’t need to worry.

@@dynamo1360 I would love to have a conure, especially a Sun conure but I love green cheeks too, but they are double the price of a cockatiel. My grandpa bought me the bird and I really need a double flight cage for my budgie and the upcoming cockatiel but I really can’t afford it right now because they are like $300 and I only have like $550 total and I’m 13 so it’s not like I can just get a job 😂. I’m so close to getting monetized on KZbin and I’m hoping to make money so I should be earning about $100 a month. So my budgie will be in a 18x18 for a couple of weeks 😭. I know it’s bad but shes so small that she can fit through the flight cage bars. My last budgies were In there for two years and had no problem but this one found out that she can fit through the sides which the bar spacing is 1/2 of an inch and there’s one part that’s a little less than 3/4 of an inch And she squeezes through. So unfortunately until I can afford the double flight cage my budgie will have to stay in an 18x18 cage. 😖.

We found a Alexandrine parakeet in our backyard yesterday we got a cage for her and tried finding the owners but unfortunately she escaped and flew away I was trying not to get too attached to the bird I nicknamed her Polo but it still hurt that the bird is not gonna get reunited but we saw her on a tree and tried calling her I'm pretty sure she came from a bad home and wasn't even a little bit tamed she never came back and I just hope she ends up in a good home or in heaven but hopefully not a bad home she can't even fly very well we found out who was the owner but still I wish she is happy and not in a bad home as in the previous home she could whistle and I'm pretty sure the owners had brought her just for entertainment and decoration purposes 😔 pls pray for her

I have always wanted a conure. At a bird store we were getting a budgie at, there was this conure that moved from the back of his cage to check me out and place his face in between the bars at the bottom. I reached my hand up and he nibbled at my fingers and even tried taking my hand with his feet and bringing it inside his cage. I loved him so much and I wanted him so bad but my parents didn't allow me to because we were there for the budgie, and because he was 900 dollars. I was heartbroken and when I left the poor bird's line of sight he started literally screaming like he wanted me to come back. I went back to grab a toy for our new budgie and right when he saw me again he climbed up on the bars of his cage door. He was adorable and he looked exactly like Kermit.

I got another bird the other day. When we first went to the shop to buy my other 2 birds the person said we could not buy him. We couldn’t because his previous owner gave him a diet with only sunflower seeds and this caused him to lose so much fat under his wings. This means he was skinner and a smaller bird. But the other day was for sale and we purchased him. We named I’m pinche but while we were at the pet shop she didn’t say the birds name. My mum texted her and asked her. She told us that he is a male and she has a sheet that has words that he can say on it. She also told us that his name was rio. So we changed his name and made pinche his middle name. I love him!

Thx for your real sharing. I just bought an Aviator harness for my little parrotlet but they are so small, it's really much more difficult. Anyway, I will try step by step as you demonstrated in this video. The clip on the harness is tight which is not as easy to tighten it quickly b4 the bird struggles to leave the harness. It took 3 wks? Then i know i should be patient. It's much better if you will take a video how to help a small parrot like parrotlet or lovebird to wear a harness successfully.

So my new budgie can fit through the bars of her flight cage. I kept my 2 budgies in this cage for 2 years and they had no problem. I can’t afford a new cage yet but I really want a double flight cage for my budgie and my upcoming cockatiel. What should I do?

Maybe you could switch your budgie to a new cage and give the current cage to the upcoming cockatiel? Make sure the bar spacing isn't above 1/2 inch too!

@@lizziehn5928 The bar spacing spacing is 1/2 of an inch but Right where the edge of the mesh in the side of the cage meet is a little less than 3/4 of an inch
