I'm a child my parents dont allow me to take the birds out what do i do?

Hey love, thank you so much for posting your great bird content!!! my birds are the pickiest birds in the planet. I cannot get them to eat anything and I give them so many options. They’re scared of everything I show them… they used to eat chop now they don’t. the best I can do is a nibble on celery and broccoli here and there and they like corn on the cob occasionally…. Stressing out about their nutrition any tips?

To those who are looking to get a pet cockatiel or any type of pet bird, don't even BOTHERRRRR. Cause i got mine in 2020 when i was 10-11 and these past couple of years i haven't gotten ANYWHERE with this bird. Mostly because he used to have A LOT of bad night frights and that would set me back in his training and make him not trust me anymore, which lead me to restart the whole process. AGAIN. Mind you, this kept happening off and on for YEARS now, and he STILL doesn't like being anywhere near me. Like if i try some of the methods I've learnt in the past years, he just climbs away in his cage and keeps a distance from me. And yeah, every bird has a different personality, but apparently mine is a jerk!!! I still love that tiny fluff of feathers, but man--- He can be such a pain in the butt sometimes. Long story short, lol, I'm officially done with pet birds. Also, I'm not trying to say to give up on training a bird. I'm just saying that if you don't want to deal with what i did, like going through all the stages of training the bird, then maybe a bird isn't for you like it isn't 4 me. oh and if the bird isn't hand trained,(cause i forgot 2 mention mine wasn't) then it's rly a pain in the ace to train them. I noticed in pearls cage that you aren’t using the food dishes in their intended feeder door locations at the lower part of the cage. Any particular reason? I just bought the same cage to move some cockatiels in.

If you have pet birds and let them fly around like you should, be very careful with things that could be houshold hazards to them. Dont leave the toilet seat open, dont let them fly if you have oven burners on, make sure your window screens dont have holes they could escape through, dont let them fly if you have a sink or tub full of water. Things like that.

9:54 One alternative is getting different width dowels so your bird can grasp wider and narrower perches to excercise their feet. You definitely dont want one size width perch in your cages.

I hate these KZbinrs, they always yap so much it's too uninteresting yet beneficial sometimes. I appreciate what you're doing still just stop the yap and unnecessary parts of the video.

I work at a lumberyard and we have had single digit temperatures. Yesterday we had a trucker come in with a light blue parokee on his fender. He came from Arkansas to Indiana but the driver said he jumped on his fender while waiting so I had to chase him under the semi trailer and finally got him/her an it bit me 😂 he/she was shivering so bad. I know he had to of been someone’s pet but no one claimed him so now I have a bird called Petey (the semi was a Peterbuilt) he will be treated right. I’m buying a big cage and I’m currently working with him/her. How can you tell the sex of a bird? Thanks

Hey, thank you so much for the video. My gf and I just got two budgies and we've had them for almost 2 months at this point. We have been sitting with them and trying to give them mill but they both seem so afraid still unless they are in their cage. Any advice you could give so that they want to come out and sit on our hands? I don't want to force them but it seems that they don't really want to.

Why did the "mmmmm!" feel so fake

So informative i love it. I got 2 cockatiel (julius and cleo) julius I got right from the pet store and cleo was in a farmers market. She has been hand raised but hasn't been hand held in ages. I csn somewhat get her to step up but she will do it and fly away. Julius stays very clear of me runs away the first chance he has. So this video has been a God send. Those treats you used where did you get them?

I had my birds over a year now and they still scared of my hand they run away even though I talk to them every single day I take care of them I do the best that I can but when I put my finger in the cage they seem to be still scared of my hand I really wished they could step on my finger and eat food from my hand Any tips?
