Today I take my lawn down to 10mm. It's starting to get towards golf green height! (well, sort of)
Excited to see how this goes in the long term, I might even take it lower.

Quite a few of those "weeds" are actually good herbs, though. Dandelions, catnip and even stinging nettle. I'm not suburban, not one bit. We have pastures and animals. Usually the grass in the fields is quite short due to their grazing. I suppose you can tell tue cultural differences between city folk (stupid people) suburban folk (at least they know something) and country folk (hard workers who know where their food comes from and doesn't need a teacher or manual for every little thing) No offense. I'm stereotyping. The levels are more complicated than that
