It’s actually best to not drop flares and put your afterburner full throttle so you glow so hot it fries the seeker

@@peterjameslucklol does it trick the heat seeker into thinking it’s looking at the sun? Iirc all heat seekers are explicitly programmed to ignore overly strong signs so they don’t try to hit the sun lol

Kinda wish the beta have replay mode, So u can do the usual commentary while also zoom in on the action, I mean the game have good graphic might as well zoom in and enjoy the beauty that hard to notice in realtime gameplay

Unfortunately, neither Total War does not achieve this quality and they never had dedicated servers with proper multiplayer mod. Arena was nice but dead now.

1 thing i like in BA over Warno is the fact that broken building still can be used as cover and LOS breaker.... Making urban fight still deadly regardless. In warno, just bomb or arty it and it no longer be useful

I kinda hate that every game has to have a "meta" now adays. It's sad. Games like SD2 and Warno have this issue(but not as horrible as COD) Love the vids though vulk. Keep it up😊

Unfortunately any form of competitive matchmaking will create a meta and in the beta it was the main option people played. I really don't think this problem extends to SD2 and Warno though. You can play whatever you like in team games. It's only 1v1 where things get sweaty.

its hard to call it a meta, cause u can make a deck with over specs and make it very well played, but it also depends on a map

it is impossible to completly remove meta since meta is simply the most efficient way to solve a problem unless you make the stats for everything basically the same you will get a meta

Games throughout the years have always had something that outperformed other things within the game, but there's more often than not, a counter for whatever the "best" thing is. In games like Broken Arrow, it's not always about the unit, but also about how you play it. If you strategize right, especially one on one, you can beat the other unit, as long as it's the appropriate counter or equivalent unit class.

Does reselling a plane with missiles left give you 100% of its value back? I see you use a lot of planes for only a part of their ammo.

I don't think so, if you buy an aircraft you'll always only get a lower % back even if you sell it immediately I think.

@@glad8411 Ah, sry. Yes, as Vulcan said, you'll always get lower % of refund, even if you just spawned - returned the unit. What I meant that the refund % (for planes) also counts the ammunition and fuel spent (and damage ofc)

Very fun game! And I look forward to the full release. I am curious what your thoughts are on force fire in Broken Arrow. As it seems like it's rather excessively strong and an extreme micro tax. Admitedly I don't play at the high level though.

Suppressed weapons don't change the stealth value of a unit when fired.

​@@rsaaronI would say so, you can pick off infantry with suppressed snipers with the enemy having no idea where you are. But even in squads that are meant to directly engage in close quarters, they work very well, but still, it's situational.

What's the main differences between this and Warno? They look very similar.

Slight gameplay and mechanics differences but overall Warno seems to be much larger scale with way more units and combat happening while BA is smaller scale meaning each individual unit is more valuable. Also Warno is cold war gone hot, so late 80s tech, whereas BA is basically current day

I still don't understand why games, like this, use a weird playing card deck system. It wasn't requried for stuff like 'World In Conflict'. You could just call in whatever was relevant/earned when requried. It feels so limiting.

World in Conflict only had like 3 types of tanks, 2 aa etc. Decks are both a balancing factor and interesting feature.

there was 2 cheaters in a game i had, both using chinese names lmao. They got unlimited range (thankfully accuracy still exist) and wallhacks. They know where all my supplies and artilleries even the one on the most back of the map

I really was expectig u guy to take a real risk, making a contemporary wargame clone, and thus making engaging the US to be a completely challenging, and forced the player to find was to actually have to adapt to stop them. You cant make russian troops use fake unis like the armata and the fellon, and make the fact that a real fight with the american troops be completely unbalanced. Like where is the american support that would obliterate russian forces using soviet doctrines. Ukraine could with a couple of long range fire and forget shoulder launched at systems. But apparently u showed us a trailer where the US not only was using their contemporary units but their naval forces as well, but u chose to make warno or wargame with new unit models. I really expected that u would made america the real monster unstopable military force and force players using other countries to be creative and carefull to make america at least loose a certaain amount of units to make them stop. But apparently russia has won the lotterty 100 million times in a row, the armata which was officialy canceled by the russian Dod and the fellon which only 4 actual units have ever beenb seen are now strangely similar to having capabilities exactly the same as the raptor and the tuks 3. Also why does the US would be using the old amphibious landing troop transport taken of service in 2009. and where are the arrow and patriot systems, or the paladin electronic guided artillery? You just made wargame and changed the models, shame I was really looking forrward to this. AND STOP SAYING GOOD KILL U ARE NOT A PILOT. fuck this.
