I fucking love how many early 2010s quizzes love having "I don't know" as an option. I feel like that's always used just to fill out a free answer slot, just to make it feel like there are more options than there really are.

19:45 Like I said in the VOD version of this, nearly 10 years has passed, IllScratchYouMeow must be in their mid/late 20's, and I'm truly wondering how they feel about having this read aloud, a decade later. 😂 NGL, I occasionally find my digital footprint from my teen years on the internet and my mind just goes: "...why though? 🙂"

Everybody, I think this video should teach us a lesson. If we ever make a "Which Touhou Character Are You?" quiz and if we ask for the favorite color, we shouldn't forget to put orange as a possible answer.

2:58 I said this in the VOD, but the question is worded very weirdly. Ruukoto appears in an ending, but you never get to actually play as her. Another thing to consider is that even though the manga characters only appear as cameos in HM, they appear in the stages while gameplay is occuring (that and HM didn't even exist at the time the quiz was made, so that wouldn't have mattered anyway). 6:00 Ah, Hatate, my favourite extra stage boss. 10:50 - This sounds like the plot of an anime that Sanae herself would make. 15:03 Ah, Dylan is turning into Marisa I see.

I remember I did a quotev quiz about Touhou Characters and dates I ended up being lovers with Yukari and somehow Reimu's mortal enemy Oh, and for some reason Junko would kill me/want to I forgot the name of the quiz, but eh

@@Hijiri_MIRACHION I assume this is meant in the sense of YukaRei shipping, but I'd argue it's much funnier if you think of Yukari as being like Reimu's surrogate mom. Sulky stepchild Reimu yelling "YOU'RE NOT MY REAL DAD!" across the shrine grounds.

@@drpibisback7680 I'm not even a serious shipper, heck, I don't even follow any Reimu ships that closely (I prefer to follow Marisa's instead), but I just know that Reimu wouldn't appreciate having to see a new face she doesn't recognize any time she sees Yukari. But that's a funny visual.

There's something about how the old Touhou fandom that is so charming to me. Maybe it's just nostalgia since I grew up with the series(and definitely played into the fanon as a kid), but also because there seemed to be a lot less stress in general. You could say this about a lot of fandoms, but the focus on lore accuracy and gatekeeping opinions have definitely upped the anxiety of fan interaction in my personal experience. I know some popular fanon aspects of characters and stories are better than others, and it's nice that they're colloquially separated from canon now, but still
