Thank you thank you for this video, I watched and double checked the settings and all was correct for my settings in Lightburn. Upon seeing you take apart the connector and the motor (which had many pieces to remove ) my wiring was different than yours. Looking at my connector in the same orientation as you had in your video with the notch on the left, the bottom left wire was Blue, the top left was Red, the top right was Black and the bottom right was Green. I will try and re-solder my connector to your orientation wire color code. I think mine is wired backwards and its trying to go forward and backward at the same time. My pins for the connector are 1-Red, 2-Black, 3-Green, 4-Blue and your pins for connector are 1-Red, 2-Blue, 3-Black, 4-Green. The numbering is on the end right beside each of the holes for the pins. So only one wire in the right spot.

@@wisamyousif14 I had to re-solder all the wires on my connector from the color codes I had to the correct layout for colors that you had. I then plugged it in and now everything works as it should, it will rotate forward and backward now. Thank you again for the help, its been greatly appreciated!

@@wisamyousif14 Greatly appreciated! I'm going to try and contact OMTech and see if they sell them wired differently or if my unit was just a fluke. Though at least we know the correct wiring for it to work in the off chance someone else has this issue.

@@outragedpi3 yes show them the before and after, as you see mine both work with no issue not sure why yours was like that, that's why I was asking you if that was a third party one / you bought it from someone else maybe they wiring diagram is different but when you say you did not there is a problem somewhere you're right,

Good day, its me again. So I've gotten the rotary attachment working, made sure all settings were correct, made sure to get the stepper rotation correct, using a line and tape it starts and stops at the same spot. However when I try to laser an image or text, it stretches it out even though the image or text would be 1/4 or even 1/8th of the glass. For example having a diameter of 97.65mm give me a circumference of 306.777mm, now if i make an image that's only a width of 82mm, and a height of 58mm, that's well within the surface area of the glass. However when I go to laser it, it isn't just over 1/4 of the glass, it covers 3/4 of the surface area. Almost like the image is being stretched out. Is there a setting that I'm missing here? Thanks again for the help, been greatly appreciated.

@@wisamyousif14 1. It is set at chuck 2. Enable Rotary is on 3. Rotary is on Y axis 4. 5000mm/rotation If I do the simple line test it works just fine, but loading an image or text, it stretches it for some reason.

@@outragedpi3 honesty I can't see what you're seeing but here's some more suggestion 1-Take the exact image that you're trying to laser and print it, and cut it and put on top the cup and see how it will look, here why sometimes the imge is too big and due to the cup is small it will go around the cup making it look like is not Circle, the best way is to print the image and lay it in top, cup to see the different. 2-does the cup have cone shaped,if It have a cone shaped i recommend you use the center to the smalls measurement of cup t diameter and make sure the cup is lined up to the laser had equally from right to left much as you can. 3- Lightburn under (Cut Setting Editor) in the bottom you make sure you select (Fill all Shapes at once) sometimes that makes a difference. 4- if all that did not work can you make a small video showing me how you are doing it and show me all your machine setting to see if i see somthing worng( Note machine setting maen Go to Lightburn>Edit>Machine Settings, and record everthing, but what i'm thinking maybe your image too big for the cup is Just an Illusion but I have to see it first so please try all of them starting from number one then we'll go from there

@@wisamyousif14 Good day, I finally figured out what the issue was. I tried the steps above and it still kept stretching the image out. I played around with all the settings and went back to the beginning of setting up from scratch, again, still getting the same results. I then tried different cups to see, and still got the same result. However I noticed that when doing the initial steps for rotation setup the lines were burning through the tape and leaving a faint line in my tumbler. I tried a few times and it seems like it was doing a double burn, or my power was somehow getting more intense. I then slowed down the line from 350mm/s to 100mm/s and noticed that the stepper rotation i had of 4000, was double. So when it went fast at 350mm/s and it finished, it did indeed start and stop at the same point, but it went around the cup twice. Changed the stepper rotation value to 2000 and it only goes around the mug once now. I only noticed it once switching to the tumbler as it has words and text stamped into the bottom, where as all the glass mugs are clear, so there was no way to tell it went around twice. So I've finally figured out the issue, took lots of trial and error.
