Welcome to another episode Scrap Mechanic Survival: Nomad! Today I am tackling my first warehouse run in search of pineapple and broccoli seeds. Before I attempt a full-on 4 story warehouse, I want to try to get the other spud guns. So first I must get the seeds from a smaller warehouse!

Mining to the max, man. I recommend you put your resource collector on your mining vehicle, that way you dont have to collect the by hand, then just reweld your mining vehicle to your base close to the refinery.

I was thinking the same thing, but the part that deploys it is somehow close enough to the refinery so it takes from the collector right off the mining vehicle when it is being stored.

You should allow yourself to leave the dress bot at the mechanic station and just travel there when you want to use it. Or save all garment boxes and open them as part of a finally

I like the idea of it being somewhere but it should be at the trader. Nomads will stop by towns to pick up clothes, food, etc if they're unable to produce it themselves

if your going to be raiding each type of warehouse for an extra challenge use each type of spudgun for each type warehouse. so for the 2 story warehouse use the standard spudgun. for the 3 story warehouse use the shotgun. and for the 4 story use the Gatling spudgun. if that makes any sense.

Deployable mining vehicle definitely, also make sure that you are able to just switch out the drills with saws to chop some trees. Also you can take some inspiration from like the really small one seater bulldozer things!!!

Since you have a suspension now, you should upgrade your main vehicle first. The Dress Bot can be a stationary object in the Mechanic Station, you don't need it to bring it everywhere because what it does is just for your character only.

try making a roof on the 2nd floor and get a sliding/folding ramp so you can have a small and nimble vehicle for mining on top, or store the mining vehicle on a claw-forklift on the back, but i suggest you elongate your vehicle.

I think the reason this series is successful is an objective for each episode, like planting blueberries, getting a spud gun and now killing a boss, you are enjoying it and the video is more engaging

(day 12 of asking scrapman to use my Idea) Monday idea who can build the best survival base there will be 3 level of difficulty the first level 1 your survival base has to survive 5 greenbot level 2 your survival base has to survive 10 heybot level 3 your survival base has to survive farmbot [ you can customise this idea how ever you like] my favourite youtuber🙂

One thing I think you should allow yourself is a tailor shop. Since the dress bot isn't some key survival component, it might make sense to set something up in a static location. Maybe pick a scrap town and turn it into a restaurant and tailor shop. Maybe this is counter to the nomad lifestyle, but even nomads eat out and buy clothing somewhere.

I've had that exact layout of a warehouse before. The outside was way different, but the floor layout is the same. So much for a lot of RNG for layouts. I get there's only so many combos you can do, but still pretty fun to see Scrapman run through the same warehouse I did. I also died to wedges in that warehouse.

If you blow up the cracked stone on some walls it will reveal a hidden tunnel system with TONS of loot. Kan and Kosmo proved it in their multiplayer series.

I think you should make the deployable mining vehicle with the interchangeable spudguns, so you can make an armored warehouse vehicle for clearing the outside grounds or acquiring keys without risking the main vehicle. You could even use it in the early floors and put a chest in it to carry greater loot. Maybe make the drill and refinery segment and the armored front segment as detachable pieces, so you can swap functions of your one deployable vehicle. This will save space and time if you can build all the relevant buttons and switches into the modular pieces, allowing you to create a back-heavy utility vehicle with the compact power of a forklift. Just attach the part needed, stow the one that isn't, connect a couple wires, and you're off. Attach a saw and leave the saw exposed and attached in both situations, it will be useful for clearing destructibles out of your creation's immediate way. Two layers of tier 3 metal should stop quite a few tape rolls in fights from hallways. Maybe make the back end interchangeable as well, so you can attach a resource collector in place of a counterweight for non-combat functions. When you are done with it, slap it in a spot where it's in range of your refinebot and mount up your vehicle. The collector requires no connections, nor the counterweight, so it's just cut a block, place a block, weld a block to interchange the back end. Anyway, that's just a for-fun thought, it's episodes like this that remind me you are a fairly competent FPS player, as well.

If you put the drills on a "boom" - like if you mounted it on your bumper - and attach a piston to it - between drills and actual bumper - so it can extend forward, then add a bearing on the piston mounting point on the car to move the arm up and down +-35 degrees - and you are all set. It's simple an easy way of getting the rocks.

If you think about it its better to build a deployable miner then farming high tier crops cause if the harvest go wrong(when you plant the crops too early) at least you have enogh metal to defend the early raid

Great video as always. I think you sould do the deployable mining vehical. That way you could build up a lot of teir 3 concrete so if you ever need quick durible walls for a farm, you'll have something that would last a while. Also you should get some wedges out of the warehouse. I know it would take a while to farm the glow poop for the explosives, but think of the wedges that you could get. The area around the master switch is the best place to get the most wedges for the least amount of explosives.

The automatic spud gun seems pointless if you can't aim it well. Not only that but it'd be expensive. It would cost logic gates for a loop pulse. Best just use a button, right SM? (yes, still triggered about the packing pump being manual XD)

Next time you loot a warehouse, you should deposit whatever you get from the outside into your vehicle before you go in. That will give you more room for loot on the inside of the warehouse

Don't forget C.A.M.! Crouch for more accuracy and to lower your hitbox! Aiming down sights makes you more accurate! Move unpredictably to dodge shots!

Definitely a mining vehicle (maybe if you make it like on of those foldeble forklifts that sometimes hang on the back of trucks) it wouldnt even make your vehickle that much larger.

If you make some small explosives and take one to your next warehouse, you can blow up the cracked wall on the lower part of the loot room It will lead straight to the elevator skipping the last lot of bots Also, you can shoot over the tape, there's a particular spot, but becareful, bots can return fire to and you can get hit

I think you should do the spudguns first... Beacuse thats a smaller thing. It is easyer to get and build, then building a hole new vehicle that's gonna fit in your normal vehicle/in your base vehicle. That's what I think!.

if you want some of those mythical wedges for yourself then bring small explosives. they have a 10 block blast radius and is easier to control. then go for the yellow stairs and bring them down with elevator. each should pay like 30-40 wedges

Make a big base using that barrel you can get from the shops beside the road. You would need a big vehicle to put your mining vehicle on. Also, look for an oil pond. Make the mining vehicle first. Coz you don't need to kill a bunch of farm bots for whatever reason.
