Taking Over An Old Apiary.....But Its A Jungle!!!

In this video we clear an old apiary. If you want more bees you need more yards its simple maths! So when we get offered a new site we go for it and get stuck in.
It doesn't matter how much overgrowth thats there 12 years as a countryside ranger has taught me that nothing is impossible when it comes to overgrowth.
We cleared this bee yard in no time with simple tools. Battery Hedge Cutter, fold up saw and a Chainsaw.....and a little bit of sweat! Now its ready for bees!!

The ego tool is fantastic I have the chainsaw attachment to the multi-tool as well I've been using the strimmer brush cutter and hedge trimmer around my bees and it does not disturb them at all I've been using it for about 4 maybe 5 years now top tip get a spare battery I always take two with me just in case

nice , i need to find a new site or two. I've gone fully electric with my strimmer , trimmer and chainsaw, because its such a faff to keep those two strokes in good working order... i know its user error 😃

Looks like a nice little site! Hogg weed is a real monster problem. Safe idea using the hedge cutter!! What happened to the brush cutter machine?? I use one too with hedge cutter! It’s a lot of work!! 🙌🤓🐝💪🏻
