And for anyone watching who isn't subscribed, click that button! This man works so hard to feed his family. Compared to all those KZbinrs who play video games or comment on TV shows or open boxes, the Scrap Hunter is in a different class. He's a proper grafter and deserves all our support

I used to strip tons of wires like that very easily. I used a board in which I had grooves of different depths, a cable clip to guide them throug and a flat blade to cut the isolation. Maybe not worth the effort on real short pieces but I could do almost a barrel on a single evening. As for the rest of that stuff, might be worth the effort to completely break it down.

Another great video, I’m the same as you weigh my motors in as motor, my time is more valuable

Personally I would strip it out, could be well worth the work, the switch gear. You would need steel toe capped boots or you could damage yourself.

@@shaunhart5402he probably could of explained it a little better but it’s £620 a ton an 62p a kg I’m getting 78p a kg on motors an £780 a ton his prices are pretty low tbh for non ferrous
@rickyhall25483 ай бұрын
@@shaunhart5402but then again the size of those motors I wouldn’t of weighed them I’d of stripped them down and got either bare bright or no2 copper which by me is £6.30 a kg for bare bright and £5.80 kg for number 2 fair chunk a copper in those he weighed in
