My 3rd time hearing Upchurch and he's gotten a lot better since the last time I heard him. Thanks for putting me on. This was fire. Yeah, I see what you're saying about him ending his multi's with a different word that doesn't rhyme and switching to a new scheme, but I've heard quite a few underground artists do that before too. Not knocking Upchurch or saying it's not unique, because it is. For example M.F DOOM does this better than anyone, but he does it in a completely different way than anyone. Plus he's my favorite rapper and better than 99% of rappers imho. (DOOM fans will get what I mean) Also about Eminem rhyming in others peoples pockets; wasn't that him just trying to flex that he can do what they do but better since he was pissed? You said he doesn't have to do all that, and you 100% right, but I'm pretty sure that was only on Kamikaze when he was shitting on everyone while using popular flows, and sometimes adding his own touch to them. I don't think he did any of that In Music to be Murdered by, right? I haven't re-listened to those albums in like a year with change, so correct me if I'm wrong on this one.

Get started with music? I started a writing rock/ alternative rock music when I was 8. Was introduced to hip hop shortly after and began writing consistently around 14/15. Became a “rapper” and was noticed when I was 20. Signed at 22 and then dropped/ offered a writing position since I couldn’t leave the state. Was facing 5-10 years in prison. I’ve been writing and working multiple jobs ever since 😊

And is soooo damn underrated!
