Taking The Built H6 Subaru WRX STI To it's first car meet!

During break-in period I highly recommend a lot of engine breaking. This causes additional vacuum on the cylinders and piston rings for seating. I’ve done it on my own builds and have always helped. You should start to see a small change around 250-400 miles

I'd get that idle adjusted way Lower, 800 RPM hot 1,200 RPM cold.

It idles at like 750 -900 when warm Cold is 2K down to 1.5K depending on ambient. For the tune we were able to get it'll be Gucci for now

The hood for the evo is strange with that intake... why isn't it on the correct side or just have 2 to make it symmetrical? Since you are going to paint it anyways... would it be worth closing that weird intake off to make it flat since it has so much ventilation already?

Tanner, love the channel,......I'd like your opinion. I have a Seibon hood coming for my 18 sti. how important is it to swap over the inside guts of the hood over to the carbon fiber hood, seeing as on the new hood none of the holes are drilled to make the swap easy. and should I put some sort of heat shield on the inside to protect the hood?

If you’re still TMIC, then it’s very important to keep the air flow straight into the intercooler. Also there is a disclaimer on Seibons site saying a heat shield is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

As Jacob said, if your still tmic. Transfer iver the shrouds for the intercooler. Aside from that you shouldent need anything else No need for any heat sheilding 🙏

Make sure you clear coat the hood or it will yellow and peal. seibon donesnt clear coat there parts and it will be messed up probably in a year if not cleared
