@@khtractors could be worse, we had an ic with the Maxxforce 7, and the block rusted out, and mid rout the engine essentially exploded....

This is the first time I saw a modern school bus. I have to say, I was shocked! Mine were all 1950's and 60s with the black front fenders. All had stick shifts and had to be double-clutched. The doors and the little stop-sign were all manually opened. Automatic chains was just too much information for me to try and take in LOL

They have become very nice, but we are still missing air conditioning on our buses. Its an option but they don't purchase it.

@@khtractors wow, that’s the one thing I’d have to have. I remember the little fans the drivers had on them...but that’s not a lot. Of course, our school didn’t have a/c - but neither did anyone else in those days. Hard to believe life without it now lol

My school district has those chains on their buses and I love the sound they make and believe it or not I’m going to be getting automatic tire chains installed on my Ford F150 truck within the next few months.

K&H Tractors They do although Onspot's primary focus is on fire ambulance and school buses but they do often have solutions that will work on pick up trucks like my Ford F150 for example. But of course they do not fit front wheel drive or independent rear suspensions. Which is why I went on driving hiatus until I got my truck on Friday because my mom has a Subaru which can’t have them installed since it has independent rear suspension and also I’m just not really into Japanese vehicles like Subaru Toyota Honda etc.

I park my bus at home while school is in. My run starts 2 miles from my house and the bus garage is about 15 miles away. Plus I work at school so it’s there during the day. Works nice because I never drive my personal vehicle during the week. Thanks for watching!
