My grandparents had a old washer and clothing lines outdoors and in the basement to hang dry. I used to think the washer and roller press was fascinating. This was back in the 1970s. They were married in 1930. By then she had a washer dryer combo but still didn't want to waste electricity. Love this! Thanks for sharing! Pets to the puppers, Michelle from Omaha

I love that you guys are in the U.P! My daughter goes up there every year during the summer. My grandma retired and lives up by Hancock with her daughter and grandson. We would visit Fort Wilkins and take a picture at the cannon as well, I miss going there. When my brother and I were little we would travel there and visit my Great Grandma and Great Grandpa every year. Amazing to see you guys are there now. :) ❤❤❤❤❤

there's laundry facilities there by showers?? you can always do a load of towels

they could have also gone into town and used a laundry mat. mccleans is only like 15 miles from houghton. though they were used on just water so they can just hang up the towels

State Park Campgrounds don't usually have laundry. Some full service campgrounds do! But this one did not.

I love the dogs so much but you know what really makes me here and Connecticut a saberian dog female cruelly beaten up she's a young dog it's all healed she's going to be put up for adoption and that makes me so mad when people do that I still don't understand why they do that it makes me mad and cry how to change the subject those are pretty rocks picked up because I used to pick up rocks to I had one rock that was all white and it was beautiful all the moving that I did I lost them sorry I upset you what I found out talk it out you have a great day
