Taking the metro from Oriente to Baixa-Chiado via Alameda, Lisbon

To get from Oriente to Baixa-Chiado by metro, you must take the red line to Alameda and transfer to the green line. This trip takes around 30 minutes.
Lisboa Oriente is a very nice looking station and it's one of the main stations in Lisbon. You can go to the main cities like Porto and Faro from here and all the passenger trains stop here. The red metro line also serves this stop.
Baixa-Chiado is in my opinion one of the most beautiful stations in Lisbon. It is also very deep underground. The green and blue metro lines stop at this station.
The red metro line goes from São Sebastião to the Airport and the green metro line goes from Cais do Sodré station to Telheiras.
Lisbon is the capital of Portugal and it's a vey old and beautiful city. There are not a lot of international train routes in Lisbon. Soon there will be a train that goes from Lisbon to Madrid.
