That’s amazing! I checked in for all the assessments you made, and I have also been to therapy for massages and physiotherapy. I did your exercise and I felt way better.

Hello Yoni Whitten, This shoulderpain you discibe I recognize by myself. Also the doctors coulden't find anything wrong by me. Later on the pain was even going further and I felt a pain in my wrist when turning my arm/shoulder. Because the doctor was not helping me, I searched what was causing the pain. In the mirror I saw that my painfull shoulder was hanging more forward then the other. It helped allready a little when pushing it back with the hand of my other arm. I tried what you tell in the video, and it realy helps me a lot. thank you for that tip. What I allready find out what is very helpfull for me is: I stand for an open door, put both arms to the side -at shoulder height- and begin lean forward ... as far as it is possible, with my body straight. This posture puts force on the shoulder. At first just I can lean just a little forward, and when doing it the pain fades a little and I can lean further. After doing this I can move my arm and shoulder very easy again! Is this a same sort of practice you discribe, or what is your opinion, because it is realy helpfull ? Greatings, Ivar

this was an amazing demonstration of your skills as a physiotherapist. I had a similar constriction in one of my shoulders. What followed were MRI's that revealed nothing and P.T visits that did nothing. Finally stopped all treatment and it eventually improved on its own but I know I am still vulnerable .

Thanks Carol! I'm happy to hear that your situation has improved!

Great video, I have two torn roto cuff tears which have now scar tissue since both shoulder muscles were torn from the bone. I have about 90% range but my shoulders still get sore from normal day today activities plus 2-3 hrs a day practicing snare drum and timpani. I do mobility exercises passively where one arm moves the other arm vertically, diagonally etc. I would like to see more on videos on severe rotor cuff tears with scar tissue. Best wishesGreat work Yoni

Can you please post some content on cervical spine joint capsule sprains. I have been suffering with cspine pain and limited range of motion for a couple of months. I was recently given this diagnosis and he suggested rolling the area with a ball which seems to make it worse. No treatment seems to be making it better so far. Stretching seems to flare it up. Thank you in advance for your help! I love your videos

I love your videos even when they don’t seem to be my issues. I’m part of your Pain Fix Protocol community. I’ve been having some issues with pain in my right hip. More achiness than pain and it’s not constant. But I recently realized that when I sit on the couch recliner with the foot rest up that my left leg is straight forward but my right leg leans about 45 degrees to the right and to straighten it is slightly uncomfortable. No pain. I’m thinking that I should be following one of your/our protocols for this but not sure which one.

How was this not diagnosed before? I am guessing no physical examination… even the 80/20 principle would have given one this diagnosis. Interesting exercise with precise positioning. Will definitely try this.
@painfixprotocolАй бұрын
I'm not quite sure how this was missed. As imaging technology has improved, there has been a significant decline in physical examination skills. Glad you got something useful from the video! Cheers!

I have had similar symptoms for a couple years and my chiropractor tells me my shoulder "is out." Even though she adjusts it, pain continues along that trapezius muscle and on the outside of the upper arm. She also told me that she cannot do a test to tell if the rotator muscle is partially torn. I guess I will do this exercise too. Thank you.

Love all your videos. What would you recommend for a petite lady who is almost 70 years in age. Yet also per MRI April 2022, showed a 6mm tear in the anterio -distal right suprasinatous tendon. Knock, knock, no surgery. I pretty much manage discomfort, however sometimes I can tell when I over do it. TY Donna

yes!! this exactly addressed the problem I have been experiencing for years after 3 dislocations in my left shoulder. I did the excercise you describe but experincing alot of tension in my left neck - any suggestions for this as I really need to begin lifting weights to build muscle mass
@painfixprotocolАй бұрын
It's hard to offer specific advice with an examination. Tension and pulling in the neck when attempting this exercise could mean several things. I would recommend seeing a skilled rehab professional in your area.
